Lad, don't assume 2k didn't know what they were doing when they removed the AH. They know exactly what they're doing and simply won't care until it affects their bottom dollar even more. This is just pure greed by 2k to try to keep players engaged primarily via pack drops with the poorest odds. I'm ready for theme team agendas. Something that gets us using cards and getting familiar with new players. What's the point of collecting so many cards if there's no reason to use 95% of your collection.
I quit in 2k23 and moved on to the FIFA community (not a smart move) but the fact that FIFA is in its worse spot in years right now, and 2K is arguably in a Worse spot is crazy.
Yea i thought it would be better on 2K from playing Fifa for years. Went back to Fifa 23 and barely played it as well lol

I agree and it's not just the rush of the snipe that was great with the auction house. It actually gave a sense of community and interaction that this year totally lacks. It was the one thing drawing people to log in when you had nothing to do or agendas to grind. Just scroll to see if there's anything interesting. Further more it enhanced the person devotion for playing because you could hunt for the players you ACTUALLY wanted and sell those that you didn't.
How many casuals just jump on once, play it a few times, spend a few dollars then realize the gambling side and then stop because of this? Even if they just make a few dollars from this and each player who does this, 2k would have made what they need to and then still get the extra from the hardcore players investing in getting the best cards and gambling. They've got the market and know what they are doing. They're happy to push away the casual players and still risk a few casuals trying out the game, spending a few dollars and knowing they'll still make profit.
They should just run some ads and have product placement to create revenue. I’d rather that and them give us back the auction house back then us have to pay to play.
Sadly have to agree here, although if it got too annoying it would just drive even more people out. But at this point I’m down horrendous for an auction house rn.
My team needs Madden accessibility as far as packs sets for players and auction house, I guarantee when nobody have a problem with 2K if they had these things

I wonder if 2K would of went so hard on the Gambling if they didnt have those 2 exploits that pretty much caused 2K to lose out on alot of money cuz all those Season 3 sets people normally would of spent alot of money on but whoever did the Paul George exploit pretty much got every card in the game for free if u abused the exploit like most of us did😂 so im wondering if 2K went pretty much Gambling only to make up on lost profits n maybe they originally were gonna release every player in the Market but once the PG exploit happened they prob figured fuck it lets scrap that n just make "Special Inserts" gambling only etc..2K25 will def be the defining moment on if their gonna continue in rhis direction of Gambling only n that will def make alot of people quit tha game

@@tierlistpapi7241 Both things can be true and happen? You can quit playing a game but still keep tabs on how the game is going by watching videos on it. You can also still support content creators that play or talk about the game without YOU as a individual play or support the game.
@@tierlistpapi7241 Furthermore, I haven’t touched a Call of duty game since MW2019 because I don’t like the direction of how the franchise is going, but I still watch 2 COD youtubers named Blametruth and NeroCinema to keep tabs if things will change. (Funny enough BlameTruth is similar to DBG, in that he hates the game and still calls out the bs)
