In this original song, Angelina's performance is fantastically raw and aggressive with her unique voice, raspy and deep, while she performs fantastic and beautiful tonal scales, which completely captivates you. Angelina's musical eclecticism transcends the ordinary and she always manages to give a unique and passionate vision of her songs, whatever genre they are. She truly has a musical knowledge and analytical ability that is beyond my understanding. No one captures your soul and makes it vibrate like this gorgeous girl does! 💛🧡❤
Toby Gad is a multi Grammy award winning songwriter and producer. He has worked with many of the biggest superstars in the music industry producing award-winning hits. He has recently produced an album of his top songs called Piano Diaries. He invited Angelina to perform If I Were a Boy with him at piano, and with cello. It was also released with a music video. The song was originally made famous by Beyoncé in 2008, and has received over 600 million views. Most believe Angelina's version is much more intimate and emotional, and she has made it hers. Move over Beyoncé! It is more of a reimagining than a cover.
Toby and Angelina also have been working on some original music, the first of which is a pre-release. We need to remember Angelina is only 18 years old. I listen to this performance and then think her voice will continue to mature for at least 7 more years. How exciting and a bit scary. Angelina hinted that we would get new songs in September. Can't wait.
The instrumentation was just beautiful...and I really love those strings. There are so many supers to this pre-release. This is a jazzy song and production that was meant for Angelina. Her voice, as usual, just amazing, finally letting 'er rip. Her belting here was otherworldly! Bodes well for the year, for her fans, for anyone who loves good music.

Angelina opens with sass, reminds me of Diamond, Lovin You, and It’s A Man’s World! She just showcased the audience her vocal abilities effortlessly! Like so many experiences in my old age, it takes a few trials before I commit. After hearing this performance half a dozen times now I’m hooked. First I was afraid Angelina had swayed off the wholesome image she is known for. As a grandfather of 9 I worry about stuff like that. Now I believe AJ is relating why she would not be suitable for that particular person.

Has she ever had a boyfriend? She works so hard and so constantly that even she needs a guy to go to a movie, a dance, she really needs that interaction to round out her mental background and to expand her background and broaden her song writing experience. Yes very insightful comment on her role as antagonist vs the usual victim. Had a young lady tell me not too long ago after she did something funky that I reacted to that I “always got mad at her”. So I asked her if there was anything she said or did that preceded me getting mad? She paused and admitted “I like to be treated bad”. lol. This world is getting crazier and crazier.
