How do we get the sample cleared though? I got flagged for posting private on SoundCloud (I do this to listen to my tracks) and it showed the original Happy Meal by Carabide track and deleted it.
That happened because the artist behind the song 'Happy Meal' has used the same sample, and then registered their song under a content ID system.
From that point, anyone that uses the same sample will get flagged as that song.
All you have to do is contest it stating that you have clearance from the producer to use the sample and that the song in question has simply used the same sample.
I've never argued it as an artist, only as a producer, but you have the right to contest it. For example: A couple of days ago I had an artist use my beat and claim exclusive ownership of it. When I argued it, his label declined it so I appealed their decision and posted my contract with the artist, which of course lead to them releasing their claim.
I tend not to use samples that the artist has to clear. 95% of my beats contain samples that I've already cleared, or have no samples at all, so the artist doesn't have to do it.

If you need to post a link in your dispute to this video, feel free to. I have every legal right to promote and release my music to artists as desired, and you therefore have the right to use it.
If you wish to put it on Spotify, please do so and if it publishes to the store with no issues, you can decide from there if you wish to keep it on streaming platforms and purchase a license from me, or simply not release it to stores.
I have no issue with you doing that first if you’re afraid of a copyright issue arising.
