TENERIFE, PARQUE TAORO, PUERTO DE LA CRUZ

Today’s video is from one of the parks in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. I show you two hotels, the Atlantic Hills recently refurbished, and the Gran Taoro, Spain’s first luxury hotel and still undergoing works. After a brief discussion of its history I take you through the parque Taoro previously the property of the hotel but now a public park. I show you the views, great for photographers and tourists.

You could visit the memorial rose garden at the Anglican church up on the plateau. It commemorates the terrible Dan Air aircrash near the North airport on 25/4/80 - it left from Manchester. I visited once a few years ago. Turns out it was on the anniversary.
