“Leslie, please, the government knows what it’s doing.”
*slaps*
"Ouchie"
Ouchie
Even for Leslie it was unacceptable
The only proper response to such a nonsensical claim
At this point thats the only proper response. 😂
"We're here to serve you, friend. I hope the rest of your day is cool beans."
- Neutered Ron
ouchie
Tammy 1 must be around.
We heard
These days Ron's chair repair could unironically be an ASMR. I'm still not sure if he'd be pleased or furious.
I'm indifferent. I mean, the chair practically canes itself. 😐
Ron would like some asmrs because its just silence with work in the backround.
Ron himself has enjoyed asmr from the shoeshines andy gives
H should be able to recognize the relaxation and euphoria from a man applying his craft
i think duke silver would be very pleased!
all the above, plus he'd acknowledge the rights and freedoms of people to do as they please.
Nick Offerman's face objectively needs a mustache. He's right there with Tom Selleck.
I heard that Nick Offerman and Tom Sellecks mustaches grew first in the womb then the bodies were formed.
Nick's usually got a full beard whenever he isn't filming something that requires him to be clean shaven.
@@thaddeuspine Yes, he does. And a full beard includes a mustache.
I don't think Selleck's face is as cursed as Offerman's when shaved though lmao
Add Sam Elliott to it. He looks like he just dropped from space without his mustache.
Ron goes from never wanting to interact with anyone out of privacy concerns, to sharing his middle name with, at the time, total strangers.
Power corrupts
@@Runenschuppe Love conquers
And the fey are laughing
As a government employee myself, it's a little out of proportion but it's more or less what we deal with everyday. About 30% of people actually need our help and we can actually help them. Another 30% are trying to exploit the services provided. And the final 40% are just crazy people who are looking to yell at somebody
Lot of overlap with working at an electric utility lol
Uncomfortable how similar that is to any customer service job.
As an employee of a state of the USA, whenever we are low on oil, I lose my job. It happens every so often.
I'd have expected at least 10 of those last 40 to be people in need of help, but either looking in the wrong place or just not something you can actually help them with.
So working for the government is basically a Service Job but with Conservatives and Libertarians just constantly hating you on top of that? No wonder so many government employees are miserable.
I find it ironic that Ron was doing government work by fixing the pothole and it ended up leading his to his wife Diane.
Universe has a funny sense of humor.
And so do the writers of Parks and Rec
@@oz_jonesuniverse isn’t alive.
Yes, ironic. By design. ❤😂
“If you show up on time and treat everyone with fairness we will get along just fine.” Words to live by.
We're sorry....
I am not - Ron Swanson
I'm surprised there's as much as 10 minutes of Ron doing government work lol
He'd work all night if it meant nothing got done
THAT GUN SHOT RINGTONE IS GENIUS
Where can I get it?
The clip of him interacting with his wife for the first time to the next clip being him walking out of an elevator with a baby stroller is pretty funny
The last scene and Ron Swanson smiling. A very rare sight.
The fact that he gave them his middle name. Such a character arc
I love that Dutch Van Der Linde is the foreman redoing the floor.
Earning an honest living for a one way trip to Tahiti.
He needed more money
@@iriartef1 he’s got a foolproof plan
Dutch Van der Lind and Ron Swanson in the same room.....government fear go brrrrr.
I’ll be damned. He always felt familiar and I could never figure it out.
"Where will all the water go?"
"Wherever it's headed now."
I believe that 3rd floor crew boss has a plan, and Ron just needs to have some goddamned faith!
But in order to begin, he just needs MONEH 😂
Maybe Ron Swanson hates working in local government and the government in general, but he works efficiently when he wants to. Or if someone forces him to do it.
Yeah he’ll only do it if he absolutely has too or wants to, like helping Leslie in her campaign and when April messed up on scheduling meetings.
no matter what, he seems to feel that he must always justify his efforts 😆
He has only one reason to be there... the treasure
Am i the only one that would love to have an entire movie of just ron repairing that floor?
I'd love it
I agree with Leslie that Ron writing a memo is disturbing.😳
I know I’m glad Ron showed up at Diane’s place to fixed her pothole.😉😊❤️
Now Ron is president in a new movie. Into the belly of the beast, indeed
"well if I had a tool box I could fix that faulty radiator"
*Turns to see a tool box with all the tools he will need*
"This place is a paradise"
-Ron Swanson
ron without a mustache is cursed
Watch "The founder". It's disturbing to see Ron acting the way he does in that movie :D
We need another show following the park rangers.
Jerry treats Kyle like how everyone else treats Jerry.
oh stop being so pretentious, margirl!
Slash it slash it slash it!
Love how this show makes you appreciate how small government matters and is important as well as how citizen participation is good and necessary.
I just finished watching this show for the first time, and I'm already feeling nostalgic.
“I suffer from sleep fighting”
“Oh that must be terrible” 😮
“Only when I’m loosing” 😑
Rob just out charmed Dutch van Der Linde
5:50 "my son is several weeks old, he is quite familiar with the sound of powertools"
The biggest drawback of being a public servant is constantly having to interface with The Public(tm)
I feel the scene Ron saves Leslie’s job should be here.
4:53 I want that ringtone.😂
ngl i wonder what Ron thinks of the military soldiers, would he hate them or respect them? i mean we are government workers but i mean its Ron
He respects Leslie, so I guess it's the same with soldiers: he respects them as individuals but think they should not exist.
"hate the sin, not the sinner" would be a quick way to explain my position on many govt workers.
Regarding the army, I have deep respect for many military personnel, they put their lives on the line to make sure their countries and families are safe, I just don't think the army should exist. My utopia would be Voluntary minutemen, militias, ready to answer the call of duty at any time but funded by their own means. Probably not feasible but as mentioned, it's utopic
I feel certain these 10 minuets are the only 10 minuets in the whole series Ron worked
"Only when I'm losing" LMAO
Ron Swanson and Dutch Van Der Linde in the same room!!
Ron- legendary character
3:26 this hits different after Civil War
5:42 is dutch vander linde from RDR2
I like how Ron is an anarchist contained within a blue collar body and a government job.
I think he's more of a libertarian.
@@wikiwikiwa if he didn’t say that he wanted to watch the governmental body he works for crumble then I’d agree. Even libertarians see the use of having a government, they just want the government to be as small as possible while still being a functioning body. Ron wants the government to burn.
I like how the clip that showed how he met his wife was immediately followed by a clip of him spending time with their son
So basically Ron is an agent of chaos...got it lol.
The actor that playing Ron hates Ron and think he making fun of conservatives as Ron. The actor is a woketard in life.
"Sorry, i suffer from a disorder called sleep fighting. 😐"
"Wow, that must be terrible 😦"
"Only when I'm losing. 😒"
0:57 I can't take this 😂
5:40 DUTCH WHAT R U DOING HERE
HE HAS A PLAN. JUST HAVE SOME FAITH 😂
MAKING SOME MUNEH
I forgot dutch vanderlind cameod in this! @ 5:50
The video is only 10 minutes long because this is all the government work Ron actually does in the whole show
5:40 DUTCH!!!
We saw what happens when Ron does government work in Civil War.
Ron is the reason I got into Willie Nelson
my aunt LOVED old graybraids
Slash it! Slash it!
I would listen to anything Chris would say
Ron.
Ron.
lol yeah but only for 10 minutes 😂
Turtle flu 😂
She found a sandwich in the park?
She must be related to the tap lady
it's the same lady
@@ketchuph8r of course it is 😅
5:45
is that dutch vander lin?
YUP
Crazy how he became president and split the country in half
Even when Ronnie Boy does his job, he's not doing his job. Amazing.
3:33....Only when i'm loosing😑😖
Pretty sure I’ve watched this whole series on CZcams…
Am I the only one that when I saw the president in A24’s Civil War, I found it ironic because I knew the actor played Ron.
Ron is based!
I love her so much I bought coffee for the immigrants 😏
is that Dutch? 5:53
1:19 When your vegan friend eats meat
Ron would have this video taken down
Erase all pictures of Ron!
RON'S IN BLOOSH, WHAT!
Why was one of the clips just Duke Silver? I thought this was a Ron montage (sarcasm/jk)
they needed filler! not many "Ron doing his job" clips out there!
What would a Ron Swanson presidency look like? Answer: "Civil War".
I think if he wins democratically and the people are behind in in abolishing the government corporations would rush to grab as much power as possible, but they have an interest in not collapsing society so there would be some time, years, before more classic warlords take over, because at first corporations will have large enough security forces to keep relative peace.
I don't think the other political factions (ie democrats and republicans) could rise violently against the president.
RON AND DUTCH
I need to hear Ron's take on transgender studies
"What's so funny" 😠
"Oh" 😶
LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!
*Laughing* This baby is 3 weeks old.....
🐢 flu
0:49 I like how you can see the shotgun is pointed at Ron indicating he wants to blow his brains out.
Can we get a spinoff with John grown up?
okay, but who will play John??
Like, Ron was kinda a bad guy right?
No, he was a nice guy, with some misguided and dangerous beliefs.
Ron was a legend, pure and simple. He reminded us that divisions are there to control us. I may not agree with anything he stood for... but he's the kind of 'enemy' I'd love to have a drink with.
@@Hedning1390 *only sane person in the department
@@oz_jones Sane? Perhaps.
Still dangerously misguided.
Hey Parks and recs people. I don't want Leslie, I don't want Tom in fact I don't want anyone except Ron. He's a much more interesting character than literally anyone else in the show and the point he makes about the government being useless is only shown to be true by the other characters. Make a show where Ron is the main character it would be much more enjoyable.
RON
Ron.
Ron.
