the auditions are usually held months prior to the live performances. and some people show more than others
She also may have been pregnant for the first auditions and just not have gone public with it yet. In the quarter finals she says that she is 7.5 months pregnant.

The book of life used their song, with permission of course, they wrote it years before the movie came out. Like they said it was their wedding vows.
