If you spray it with a clear dull coat , anyone can add a games workshop wash like nuln oil, then re clear coat to seal. Doesn't add highlights, but adds shadows
This will be one of my favourites for sure when the two of mine arrive. I love the sculpt on this guy with the heavier tunic/jacket and big collar. As you can see, I'm fond of that iconic SAS gas mask. With no paint on the guns, I wish hasbro would cast them in black. The double barrel rifle should have a second ejection port on the left side but that's a nitpick.
I didn't have Big Ben when he came out originally. I barely got him on Pulse. I had him and some Range Vipers in my basket when I went to checkout and they stripped the Range Vipers at check out, but left the Big Ben. Then I trotted over to Walmart and ordered him there too, along with available Range Vipers. I don't have a lot of trust in Walmart to ship. So, I am at least guaranteed Big Ben. Cannot wait to get him. It says October, but only God knows when he'll actually release. Seeing as how overseas have started getting him, it's usually 2 to 3 months after. So the Oct timeline seems about right.
Even though right now GIJoe is killing it with their figures a big problem is lack of paint and the reuse of old molds to save money. For the increased cost of these figures this is ridiculous but I do appreciate their desire for quality and attempts to apese their customers and fans. That was a M249 I believe, a M240 is a bigger version of the M249 using a 7.62 round instead of a 5.56.

I'm English so cool to see a Britsh character. You were right about the flag. As far as I know it's only a Union Jack when on a ship. Otherwise it's tye Union flag. The figure looks great apart from the ugly bicep swivel and the flat grey weapons. It's so long since I read the comics. Can anyone tell me if there are other nationalities of Joes? Cos that could be cool.
Guns are the sig lmg Xm250 the gilboa snake and the Mac 11 with lage manufacturing upgrades.

Vallejo wash paints are pretty good too. I'm adding some shade to the Classified Retro Lady Jaye's uniform and accessories I recently bought.

Hasbro has some decent looking gun metal and metallic silver plastics they've used for weapons before. Why they didn't for this is a mystery. 🤔
