I stopped at the same place in San Sebastian last year on the way up to Mt. Igueldo and I had the ham & cheese croissant as well. I wasn't on the Camino, though. San Sebastian is a great place to visit if you love food and are willing to try anything. La Cuchara De San Telmo in the Old Town is my favorite. They have the best beef cheeks! My server was Santiago, who speaks English and I ordered everything he recommend and was not disappointed.

This was a tough stage for me lst September. I learned the hard way to not follow strangers. On the west side of San Sebastien I followed a gentleman who claimed I'd have the experience of my life on an "alternate route". Here's what I wrote of the experience: "What a day. I decided to walk the 9 km through San Sebastián to the trail. Weather necessitated a late start. Wind and heavy rain slowed my progress tremendously. I then compounded the error by following a guy onto one of the alternative trails and spent two hours hiking the most dangerous trail I've ever experienced. I now know what "certain death punctuated by moments of sheer terror" actually means." This trail was on the hugged the precipice at the height of land, and was overgrown and litered with downed trees. Scary stuff! Good news was I lived, but followed up that experience with an invitation to "bed race".

    Bom dia Efrén,
Primeiramente gostaria de parabenizar os seus vídeos: são geniais e altamente instrutivos.
Fiz duas vezes o Caminho Francês (2012 e 2018).
