While traveling through Changlang district, the IFCRA team visited many beautiful villages, including New Yumchum. They were welcomed into the traditional homes of the Lungchang, one of the sub-tribes of the Tangsa. These homes are filled with generational decorations of buffalo heads, symbolizing peace and prosperity for their families.
Among the many sub-tribes of Tangsa, the Lungchang Tangsa stands out with their unique traditional homes adorned with buffalo heads, showcasing their rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted traditions.
