- The New Tarkov wipe is coming in a little over a month.
And with the new trader Coach being added to the game more players will be incentivized to play
Arena.
This series is meant to inform Tarkovians on what classes might be worth using and which ones should be avoided.
This video goes into Hotel and whether its worthwhile to use it at tier 3.
TENTATIVE LETTER RATING : D
REASONING:
1) High recoil takes it down some letters.
2) High weight and movement debuffs take it down a letter.
3) M80's are not the greatest, really have to hope for a headshot and even then, level 4 helmets
ricochet M80's pretty often.
4) Its still possible to get kills and get a positive KD but its really not competitive.

I wanted to make a quick comment but material destructibility has been changed
to as follows...
Aramid: 0.1875
Polymer: 0.3375
Combined: 0.375
Titan: 0.4125
Aluminum: 0.45
Steel: 0.525
Ceramic: 0.6
Glass: 0.6
The material ranking did not change but the values are a little lower than before
making your armor have more hit points.
ADDENDUM (Patch 0.1.9.1)
Armor reduced from 100% to 80% shouldn't affect Hotel to a noticeable amount.
ANOTHER ADDENDUM WILL BE POSTED WHEN MORE TESTING WITH NEW DURABILITY IS COMPLETED.
It just needs a Obdobolos 2 and a Propitol and all the problems of overweightness are solved. Better ergo because weight limit increased as well so the gun will feel more snappy, as it should with that specific sight. Until then, I would just drop the G18C and its ammo and the knife and also maybe the airframe too just to get underweight.
agreed the scar H recoil is ludicrous, I feel like they should give him a more meta scar Hand if he becomes to powerful just take away his m80.
Also do you know if when they wipe will they be erasing all progress for arena?
I am not sure either.
But if I had to make a guess they would want to see how Arena would work
with a new wipe to gather relevant data.
I would go as far as to say that the wipe BSG mentioned in August will come with an Arena wipe.
Just my two cents though.
