I also like how they no longer have big icons over every enemy unit unless you are actually spotting and aiming at them, makes sneaky tactics actually viable.

This game looks nice on the surface but the sheer speed at which units move is ridiculous. Some players may like that and that's cool, but not me.
They need to fix vehicle acceleration but overall top speed should be ok
After watching this, AI is smarter in this game than it is in GOH. Other than that, GOH is still better (especially with the new USA dlc coming soon) But, I will say this is a major improvement from the last beta.
AI is smarter than in GOH? Have you ever played with AI on veteran or more? Plus this game is so arcade that COH3 in comparison is a masterpiece....

So... I had my hopes up until I heard the same voice lines from over a decade ago, and saw the same animations from over the decade ago. Also it looks like the infantry AI is literally the exact same.
I'm just gonna keep playing gates of hell until we get a worthy entry into the men of war series.
I wished they had something like Gates of hell's conquest mode. I love the idea of having to start with the most basic conscripts and stuff, and progress by winning and buying new stuff. All the mods and on hard mode really makes it challenging, Having to send your recon squad forward to spot enemy mortars and AT, and then figure out how to approach it, and losing an expensive vehicle can also be really frustrating. Idk it just makes me appreciate and worry more about my stuff and how i play, i love it :D

Men of war 2 is so different from other game series that it should not be called Men of War. So disppointed that they made this like Men of War Arena… hope that RobZ or someone else will mod this back its roots

Why the hell does it look like the first game? I was expecting something more like Gates of Hell - Ostfront. These are my favorite WW2 strategy games, but this looks disappointing :(
Should've just went back to the Faces of War campaign scenarios. Those are way better and can probably be set in different setting other than World War 2.

if you would have played with and against players there would be trenches, bunkers and wooden towers everywhere.
multiplayer is fine but the real reason i liked this series was the single player campaign.

They haven't ruined it, they are not the men of war devs (barbedwire studios). Gates of Hell is the true men of war sequel

This game will still be a failure because, the gameplay is shit (too fast/arcady), graphics are meh, sound is absolutely atrocious, UI is terrible and it is always online (because it still is Men of War Arena with a new name)

Gates of Hell is miles ahead of this game.
Wouldn't say gates of hell is miles ahead. It has an ugly brown filter and the AI kinda sucks.... This looks better in many aspects.
@@portman8909 Lol nice joke, brown filter? Maybe check your monitor or check out more than one map. AI is an issue due to the stone old GEM engine, MoW 2 will have the same issues or even worse.
Not as much in MoW 2. Unlike Gates of Hell, in MoW 2 soldiers fire while moving, enter buildings without need for micro, don't glitch in cover, and path finding actually works.
No it's just what they decided to do with the game. It has an ugly brown filter instead of real life natural colours. All the maps have the same dull filter, very unrealistic and ugly.@@R4ZORLIGHT

Other that infantry and tanks moving a bit fast this game actually looks really good both graphically and AI not acting so braindead. Will be ordering this day 1.

I think what you did wrong were was you tried to find a one punch tank.
My plan to you is to use smaller tanks but more of them and one big tank.
Use big tank to tank bullets and smaller tanks to go around and destroy the important things and then back the position up with tank destroyers.
Dig trenches and move up slowly. Do the same thing
Push with one big tank and use smaller tanks that's more mobile to either distract or kill the main problems
