Honeymoon Cruise Day 6: Breezes Resort Day Pass in Nassau Bahamas

- Welcome to another video from our honeymoon onboard Royal Caribbeans Mariner of the Seas. Today we docked in Nassau Bahamas where Brian booked us day passes at the Breezes Resort. The day pass gives you access to their private beach, resort and unlimited food & drinks. The resort itself wasn't big so there was no "exploring" other than the beach access. The sand was gritty yet clean. Having spent the previous day in the beautiful fine sands at Horseshoe Bay, I wasn't a big fan of this beach. If we hadn't had our experience the day prior I am sure I would have loved the beach access. I preferred the pool environment at Breezes over the beach. The food was good but since I was still pretty full from breakfast I was unable to taste everything they had to offer. The customer service was great, everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. Despite that I would not do a day pass again as I didn't think it was worth the money. After the resort we did some tourist shopping back near the ship and got the girls a few presents. It was still a very good day with my new hubby Brian! :-)

thank you for this video!! the construction is a new port welcoming center. Im sad I seen it under construction after we booked to be there in April and it won't be finished til the end of may 2023!

The video was well done, but the resort looks like the Breezes Resort Bahamas, not Sandals Royal Bahamian - we have been to both, and the Sandals is far nicer and much larger than Breezes. If you paid the $340 per person for a Sandals 1/2 day pass ($650 pp full day), and were taken to Breezes instead, you should raise hell as the Breezes day pass in only $100.

Did you get to Sandals by taxi? Was there any taxis coming back? Is the beach cleaner at Sandals? Sorry for so many questions, I want to get a sandals day pass lol
@@ykimtang5032 We were not day-pass guests for either resort - we stayed as resort guests. The beach is nicer at Sandals compared to Breezes, but the main beach isn't very large; the beach on the offshore island is nicer and we prefer it, but there is a ferry to get there and it runs about 1x per hour. In Nassau, taxis are very easy to get.

Did this day pass include alcohol drinks or non, and was there a cap on the amount you can get? Looks interesting im going on mardi gras in 3 weeks
it included alcoholic drinks but say you wanted beer, they did give you a bottle of bud light or anything, it was what they had on tap and their mixed drinks. I am not sure about a cap because I only got 2-3 drinks. As my kids would say, the drinks were mid lol
How much did the wood carved shark cost?
I honestly don’t know. Brian got it and 2 others things for maybe $45 🤷🏼♀️ sorry
My wife and I was thinking of going to breeze resort from cruise ship. Is it worth it?
We personally didn’t think it was worth it but that’s just our opinion. The food was good!
