I live right across the street from Jacobsburg Park. I remember when part of the park was rented out to a farmer and had corn crops in the field. That area now has the Homestead trail that runs through it.

Hi Grace. Those dried insects are mayflies that came out of them. I had a cicada in the house the other day. Today we found a cicada shell on the one plant I had outside. He must've morphed from that shell in the house. Wish we saw it morphing.

I have arctic breed dogs, so I can't hike them in hot humid weather, and I can't do it anymore either. The last couple days here in Maryland were nice until today, it got humid again. But I did get in two days of hikes . Enjoyed your video!
