- This is One of hundreds of features and documentaries I filmed for Trans World International / IMG Media spanning 17 years.
This is one of my favourite stories as we were waiting in Liberia for George for three days whilst he had other commitments. He then flew us down on a private plane to Ghana with his mates to pick him up at his Mum's place and we still managed to get this one done in three days.

i watched his documentary and it really motivated me.........you Liberians should always be proud of him.........im a South African but when i hear of him i feel so proud
Thank U Mr George truly God sent
I feel like he is forgotten, One of my favorite pllayer. Bet he will be mention with the greats of Football has he been from a more known country.
Vive King Weah Still
He's Liberia's icon.
While the POLITICIANS, inclusive of Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, made us ugly by their guns, his legs and courage put us in a rainbow scene.
we love u weah n we ll alway love u cos u proud to us
Yes it is - Its was filmed by me in February 1999
THANKS TO WEAH
El mejor potente delantero que jamas vi george weah un fuera de serie. Lo único injusto es k jamas pudo jugar una competencia internacional debido a su país de origen sin duda el mejor jugador africano de la historia
A great footballer but a better human being
I remember playing with him At Fifa's 97 98 99 ... SO IMBA!!!!
You're 100% right!
TI AMOOOOOO GEORGEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
TI AMOOOOOO GEORGEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
George Weah IS and WILL remain the best African football player. Overall he is top 10. I cannot believe the world almost forgot about him and now they just idolize arrogant and honorless players like C. Ronaldo or that little prick from Barcelona. WEAH FOREVER!!
You re Crazy.
Football legend now politician
He and my dad were good friends.
This video is very old and by posting it in 2012 makes it appear that this is the situation in Liberia. Weah did play a role in bringing hope to Liberians but after war, he needs to re-image himself since leaving soccer/ He still has a lot to offer.
This is a really old video about Weah!
this is real
Football legend now political leader

There is no way many of us will ever forget what u've done for our country. Through your soccer skills, you brought the name of liberia to the world. Though many have forgotten his talent, we they Liberians will always be in his debt.
The whole World still know WEAR.
this b4 th 2nd l.i.b war
Contender for most overrated player of all time. Decent spell at a lower level with Monaco, but thats about it.
