    Salamu alaikum my sister. I hope you are doing great. Please i have a question about the preparation of wasawasa. The first time, i made it, it was good. However, ever since then, anytime i make it, it’s very bitter. Could you please tell me what i may be doing wrong?

      @madeinengland1983 Před 3 lety +1

      It's because you didn't wash it. You need to wash it very well to remove that bitter taste.

    I still can’t get it right, whenever I wash, it turns into muddy please help

      Firstly try to get all the flour into the small round, then cook it till you see it's cooked. After washing try to drain as much water as possible. In a seeve leave it to make sure the water is out, definitely there would be water after that wash but it shouldn't be muddy. Then cook it this 2nd time till it's cooked.
      Ps. At the first stage of making in to the small balls try not to add too much water or I should say don't make too soft.

      I will do an update on this, this time you might get it, bcos I'm going to emphasize only on the wasawasa and hopefully this procedure might help you get it right.
