Assassin's Creed II is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. Being the sequel to Assassin's Creed, it was released on November 17, 2009 in North America[1] and in PAL regions[2] for iPhone OS, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, on March 9, 2010 for Microsoft Windows.
Later more accurate on November 15, 2016 a version called Assassin's Creed the ezio collection was re-released with the remasters of the ezio saga for ps4 and x box one.

Idk about anyone but I find the gameplay of the older AC’s games simplistic, but satisfying at the same time. Like it was always smooth and responsive and addicting to use the parkour system. Even though Unity/Syndicate has the best parkour, I will take this system of parkour over Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla.
yes I like them all too really ac unity and syndicate has a really cool parkour alias i don't know why people don't like syndicate so much i think the setting and some elements of the gameplay are really cool.
There really is something special about the first AC games and their parkour. I think its mostly because of its responsiveness and the sound the brick and tile make when you climb up it. Even the first AC had a really cool sound for the wood when you put your weight on it.
syndicate does not, unity had a lot more freedom and a lot more animations than syndicate
Everything was consistent about the parkour in ac1 and 2. Unity is so fun to run around in and the parkour up and down options make for some really cool runs.. but sometimes Arno will "snap" to certain ledges or platforms that I wasn't at all going for. I never had that problem in AC2. Remove that and add the the wall catching mechanic from AC1 and Unity would have been perfect imo
Humble opinion, but i think the First 4 games (1 - Revelations) are all masterpiece in gameplay. Ubisoft should have improved only graphics and animations in the following games. By the way, i love the following games, but no one have surpassed the first 4 yet.
I can't appreciate enough of how beautifully the world is made. The details in the buildings are just...too good. One of the major reason Assassin's Creed is my favourite franchise.
I certainly like this game a lot, as you mentioned the details, the setting, everything is very well done, not to mention the evolution it had in relation to the first one.
@@zeratoblack Out of 3 or 4 major reasons, the historical recreation was one of them. Architecture, Characters, etc. Assassin's Creed II is my favourite game. Yes, it was a massive upgrade from Assassin's Creed I
@@milan.980 I found the 3 very good too, although I like the 4 more because of the many things you said yourself. but what caught my attention the most and what I was most in the 4 was the freedom of exploration I found it very cool at the time so much that I've already finished it like 7 times
@@zeratoblack Oh haha cool, I will be replaying Black Flag very soon. being a huge fan of winter, I liked the exploration part more in Rogue

Since you’re playing on controller , do you use the claw grip so you can hold x and R2 at the same time to sprint and look around as well or non claw?

It's because the original AC games up to Revelations had very stylized graphics, almost painterly, they didn't rely on just graphical fidelity to look good

plus there were some hilarious bugs apart from some people who reported bugs that compromised the game and if it's not like that it's not ubisoft lol.

unfortunately no, only for PS4, Xbox, and Switch. However, turn down whatever AC you want among those that are there and fill it with mod, it's even better.
