    Currently I have the 2017 xDrive35i with M Sport, mineral white met and tons of options, bought with low km. Very happy, I had zero problems in 30,000km of ownership. I use about 11L/100km of premium gasoline in comfort mode.

    I was hoping to hear about the maintenance costs and possible issues of the used X5, rather all I saw was just the look and the drive of the car which wasn't different from the brand new X5 reviews.
    Good review though. Still waiting for your review on the maintenance cost of you BM. Thanks

    • @thirst4petrol537
      @thirst4petrol537  Před 3 lety +2

      Hey, thank you for your feedback. This car isnt mine so i couldnt do a long term review on it but the maintenance costs do vary per country you live in. Maintenance will be a bit higher on an x5 than on a comparable vehicle which isnt a premiumbrand. Your biggest expenses will be tyres(as all 4 need to be replaced if one is damaged or worn out cos of the xdrive) and petrol(as petrol versions will consume a lot which is why i recommend buying this with a diesel engine). On higher mileage x5's some issues with the airsuspension can also occur although they aren't that common. For the rest these are pretty reliable cars

    How much range it get on full tank ? And Does it have cornering lights ?
    Thanks

    • @thirst4petrol537
      @thirst4petrol537  Před 2 lety

      Hey, on a full tank you can easily do around 1100km pure highway or 850km mixed(city/highway). And yes, it did have cornering lights 🙂

  • @x5or
    @x5or Před 2 lety +1

    The best range on the X5-30D is 952 miles or 47mpg. Next challenge : Reach the one thousand!

    What about reliability issues.. This seems to be the big achilles heel for the X5

    • @thirst4petrol537
      @thirst4petrol537  Před rokem

      Hey, the 3liter diesel versions of the x5 are actually pretty reliable. I know several people who've had one well over 100k and 200k km and they never had any serious issues. Sometimes minor problems but that is the case with any high mileage car. The petrol version are a bit less reliable, especially the v8 versions.

    How would you compare this vs a Range Rover Sport?

    • @thirst4petrol537
      @thirst4petrol537  Před 2 lety +1

      Range Rover sport is a bit bigger but less sportier to drive. Rear space in the Sport is way more and easier to put 3 people next to each other. Id say the Range would be a bit more luxurious but the x5 is way more reliable.
