Tour my neighborhood in SW Ocala

- If you have watched me over the years, you know that I love Ocala. But I especially love my neighborhood of Ocala Waterway. We have no sign, we barely have an HOA and truthfully, we all seem to like it that way. I don't want neighbors with cars all over their yard or junk all over, but I also don't want someone measuring my grass with a yard stick weekly or bugging me. We like to be left alone to do our own thing.
This is the perfect blend for that. There also seems to be a nice blend of ages from the older couple across the street that helped fix our daughters bike rim, to the young family that lives next door with four kids under 10.
I go walking in the morning and there is always waves and shouts of "Good morning!" that just make me feel happy to be here.
So here is some basic info on Ocala Waterway and some shots of what it looks like.

No it is not “bad”. Not all of the neighborhoods have HOA’s. There are a few that do but several that do not.

I been watching your CZcams channel and others, but you give more details about Ocala an its surrounding.
I use to live in Miami, Fl, but relocated to Pennsylvania job related. Im going on vacation next month ( May ) headed to Florida to look at some houses. Im considering moving back south.
My question to you is,
Where is a good area in Ocala in a reasonable price with no HOA an very low crime?
I was looking for new construction in Ocala area but read that Marion Oaks is a crime area.... any worries about that?
I actually have two agents that live in Marion oaks, one that grew up there and is raising her kids there and another that just moved there. Would you like to hear their thoughts?

Well now, there are mansions spread out all over the county, but I guess if you want an exclusive high end neighborhood you would probably go to Jumbolair. Then you would have Mr. John Travolta as a neighbor. It has a private runway.
Which neighborhood in Ocala are you considering in moving tto
Maybe Rainbow Lake Estates. No HOA at all, but they are deed restricted so no mobile homes amongst the houses. All of the lots are 1 acre each so a little more land, but nothing unmanageable. Still fairly close to a Publix and Starbucks but looks like you live in the country. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for everyone, but it might work for us.
