I should mention that this tier list is from V1.10.7! Any future updates aren’t in this video!
On my mind in the 1.10.9 version, the class 801/802 should be in "Great" or "The Best" due to remesh.
And the new class 397 need to be in "The Best". The class has strange horn but the cab and interior is very cool.

The IETs I 100% agree with you on, the remesh made it so much better
The Class 397 I'll leave in Great, I use the horn often just due to the amount of whistle boards in the map, and I'm not too much of a fan of it being a reversed Civity horn

[5/8/2023 - IETs and Class 755] - Let’s talk about the IETs first, they were remeshed recently to compete with British Railway V1.2, and I must say they look really nice! The hole in the cab window is finally gone, meaning I can bump it up in the tier list! I think it’s at the very top of the Great tier, I like them more than the Voyagers, but I still prefer the HST!
The Class 755 was fixed sometime between this video and this update comment, now that the despawning is no longer an issue I really like it! I don’t really have many opinions, so it can just stay in the Okay tier, but at the higher end - I think in the IETs spot is fair.
[10/9/2023 - Class 397] - It’s very high quality, that’s something I’ll say immediately! They kinda feel like the IETs which were also just updated, but they do also have their differences! As for its spot on the tier list, I’ll say top of high tier, above the new IETs, I prefer these more!
[15/11/2023] No updates to the list just yet, I’ll give updates about the Class 68, 165/166, 365, 158 and the rest of the new trains once this period of adding/upgrading new mesh trains is done

I love how you put the 357 in the Great Tier, alot of people put it in really low tiers even though its a really nice train itself, its sadly thr new players that ruined its reputation 😢

Really it’s just if it’s meshed, I’m not too fussed about it’s top speed, especially since that’s what it is in real life.
In its current non-meshed form, it’s just low quality

@@YT_JoshSausage The tiny gap between the window in the cockpit ans the rest of the train on the Class 802 isn’t a problem for me because i never use first person view.
I prefer first person driving in this game, and the gap annoys my OCD. The rest of the 801/802 is a really lovely train though
What do think of the class 166/165 now it’s meshed
Honestly I think its position on the tier list hasn’t moved, and that’s simply because I feel like the view from the cab is way too high up. It’s my biggest gripe with the train, however I can’t ignore the fact that the detail in the cab is better, same with every “modern” mesh train.

Yeah definitely, but it’s not even just that. The 508 is by far my least favourite in the game, but the 319 is also pretty bad
I feel like 720 should be ranked higher because it's not that bad
I put the 720 in Okay because I personally find the train mediocre, much like every train in the same tier I didn’t talk about. But it’s perfectly fine for you to disagree with my list and move certain trains up or down!

I recommend the Class 331 as it’s my favourite in the game, it’s got the average speed of 100mph but you get 2 different configs for the price of 1; the 331/0 is 3 cars and has the standard Connect livery, the 331/1 is 4 cars and has a very unique Trainbow livery!

I know this video is old actually class 755 is best tier but i dont know why you put class 68 in bad tier?
At the time of editing this video, the 755 had just been meshed, and as I talked about in its section, it was not functional.
Since then it seems to have been shadow fixed (at least to me), so it’s position is outdated. I’d say it’s probably bottom of the Great tier.

Hey! Where’s the Connect Class 730!
I’ve kept subclasses, different liveries, and pairs of the same train on multiple operators off the list so it doesn’t get too cluttered.

Yeah I can see why the 68 would be higher for some, but for me until it gets meshed, it isn’t as good as similar trains (444 and 43 especially)
158 is my favourite train
The 158 is one of my favourites design wise, so with this new mesh coming very soon, I can see it also becoming my favourite!

This list is solely my own opinion and shouldn’t be taken as a definite fact. This list isn’t meant to be taken as a “What trains are objectively better than others” list, it’s all just opinions!
Why is the 755 in this video is on the bad tier? You better off putting it on the best tier.
I tried driving it so many times for Community Timelapse 21 (Terminal 3 to Stepford Central), but I couldn’t drive it past SAC. It gave me bad vibes of it being immensely rushed and i ended up leaving it in the Bad Tier because of it.
If it gets fixed I can see it moving up to the Okay tier or even the Great tier if I’m feeling particularly nice
how ever you might of still ranked it the worst!

I disagree. Class 68 and 730 are very good.
When I made the list, the 68 wasn’t meshed and thus was worse. Now I feel like it’s way better, deserving of the Great tier
For the 730, I am very indifferent, I can’t think of anything to say about it, good or bad, so I left it in Okay

I did, both the /0 (WL) and /1 (Connect) are combined in a single slot in the Okay tier, I didn't talk about it because I don't have any opinions on it at all really

@@YT_JoshSausage Disaggreed. Too fast (beginner train should only be 75) and too long (1, 2 or 3 cars should do) and too much route access (beginner trains shouldnt be able to leave Stepford City (Signal Zone A))
@@kiwitripreportsofficial I disagree, I feel like 100mph is a perfect speed, especially since a majority of the speed on the Connect network is around 100.
4 cars is a nice median, though 3 might’ve also worked but I think 4 is better, especially as a median length.
I think the amount of routes is actually healthy, I think being able to access more of the map in the first train is a positive, it’ll keep the new player engaged.
I don't really hate the class 357 that much

At the time of this recording, the 755 was a buggy mess, hence why I put it in bad
Since then the devs seem to have fixed the train, so if and when I do a future trains tier list, it will no longer be in bad
The 755 is really good at the moment since it got meshed
