If that's the first time they've played, wow. I thought Li Jiao would win that comfortably - remember what she did to Zhu at the world cup! A great performance from Miyu chan. Her forehand looks significantly more powerful, and some of her 'sidespin shunt' returns and slow spinny topspins were lovely. It's interesting that she's moved away from the Ai-style high toss service, back to the one she had a lot of success with two years ago. After a year of being overshadowed by Mima, this feels like a comeback. But what it really reminds us is just how lucky Japan is to have both of them. Sugoii!
