Got only my X-Men villains on display, waiting for that sentinel to come out to pose with my X-Men team.
I'm working hard to get my x-villains in a display I like but it's proving awkward.
Really love you shelf building series. The presenting them one by one is way better than just starting the video with all the display done and then they are just panning across the team like the other videos do.

Love the cans; I usually use old VHS tapes wrapped in colored paper. What about Forge? Anyway, I enjoyed the experimenting with the video format. It's fun to see the behind the scenes of toy collecting. Thanks!

One of the most entertaining videos I've seen on youtube! The best part is only collectors will get it. The displaying figures struggle is real! Such a great video Dave. As are all your videos. I like that you do such a variety of topics. But they are all still about collecting. You are a true collector and you show all the aspects of what it means to be a collector. Dave!!! I know you said that you're not going to buy the House of X wave. But you absolutely have to get the Professor X head accessory that comes with that figure somehow. It is the perfect head for the deluxe Professor X hover chair figure. The power effect is perfect and his eyes are closed as they should be when using his powers. Must acquire it ASAP!!

I liked this video as far as seeing how you do your displays and relating it to how I want to do mine. I just made the fatherly decree that no one is allowed to throw away tin cans anymore.

Just newly into collecting but best thing I've found so far for standing the display on is cleaned out glass candle jars as it helps spread light throughout your display also jars from the GÜ mini desserts work well and tasty treat bonus

like how orchestral the background was while Warren kept toppling everyone down w/ him.lol! Actually not bad, the glass walls do help keeping them standing. My display, after a few minutes of relief, just literally falls apart. maybe its how dynamic we pose our x-men

Great video Dave! I’ve been trying to figure out how to display my classic X-men and this helped out a lot. I prefer You commentating while you set up over music like the tmnt build. Also what flight stands are you using?

Excellent and entertaining video, Dave! I ALWAYS enjoy the team building episodes, and this display episode fits in perfectly...! That, plus your positive and entertaining personality, really are the things I enjoy most about your channel...
That all said... My ONE "complaint" would be the character voices... Not entirely your fault, cartoon gets the FULL blame for the very $#!tty voice acting/direction... So that you understand my loathing and how much I detest those voices (again, THEIRS, NOT yours...), I used to LOVE the X-verse, especially the Silvestri/Jim Lee/Portacio/Simonson era comics! Couldn't get enough of them... Even when I was forced to sell off OVER HALF my comic collection (over 60 long boxes) at one point, thanks to a psycho ex, I kept 90% of my "X-verse" books, and very little of anything else.
However, that DAMNED cartoon... I REALLY wanted to watch it and love THAT too... BUT there was SO MUCH lame@$$ & $#!tty dialogue from SO MANY of the best characters, I just couldn't stand watching it, and actually ended up hating it with a passion... The episode stories themselves were NOT bad really, BUT the lame dialogue and voices just KILLED EVERYTHING about the series for me...
So, while YOUR mimicry of those horrible voices was spot on, l just winced at ALL of them in pain, buddy!
So, since you wanted to know... There ya go. (No insult intended, because like I said, you nailed the voices!)😁😅😅
Anyway, look forward to the next one, my friend!

I got a set on. My movie Hugh jackman wolverine. I gotta another set for my yellow suit wolverine. I just need to order more. They really are pretty sweet.
Great display! No right way or wrong way. I use a long, tall bookshelf. My X-Teams are divided into 4 teams. X-Men, X-Factor, X-Force, and New Mutants. I have got to learn media. I even asked my oldest daughter to help me and she just laughed. She enjoys watching her old dad struggle with technology. Is it any wonder I'm still playing a 21 year old video game system?

I enjoyed this. Each time a figure fell I got closer to having a heart attack. The great question, what makes a great x-men display? Hasbro releasing a figure of Madelyne Prior of course, but they'll remake banshee before that happens.

They are gundam stands easily available on ebay. From China, usually sold in packs of 4 and work out at about a £1 each.

You forgot CABLE!!! And morph.. I been thinking, a second Cyclops but take all the bubbler around the legs and chest off and then put the head from Infamous iron man on it and you might get a passable morph. I think the yellow and blue need swapped though.. would multiple mans body work better?

haha, if you ever pose heavy figures, you should always have some sort of stand attachment, otherwise they'll knock over your other figures and damage it.

@@DisplayingModelBehaviour ive done what you've done many times in the past, one time it destroy an expensive figure of mine, it fell from the shelf which was 1.5 metres high and snapped, leg broke off and it wasnt a ball joint so not fixable and i got pissed, haha.
