The best part of the Apexel is that it is able to attach other lenses on top because it has those slots after the lens. I use the Apxel 2x and on top of it I place a Macro lens, the results are extremely interesting, and all in the practicality of just attaching one to the other
May I know what kind of macro lens did you attached? Did it cause some distortions on edges?

wish you do a review of Ulanzi 75mm Macro vs APEXEL 100mm Macro
In my case APEXEL wins !!! I have an iphone 12 and 2x apexel lens and 2x ulanzi with a dedicated case. Apexel has less zoom than ulanzi but does not create distortion. On the other hand, Ulanzi creates distortion at the edges, even with a cover and is difficult to remove !!!
By the way, good videos and nice hairstyle !!

Bro they are 2x means 65mm?? If so what about 3X 4x -85-135mm lens for mobile?
Thank you for such a nice review and for mentioning an important information about Apexel compatibility on mounting case, and this will move me to my question. Although I admire the mounting system of Ulanzi I am still loving my current case for many reasons. I liked the idea of mounting system made by moment and shiftcam (i.e. using drop-in lens separately from the case so you can use whatever case you want). So I wonder, is it compatible with Ulanzi or Apexel lens? If so this will solve my problem. Your response is really appreciated.

im really thinking of going with the Ulanzi with all the pros, the only thing that lets me down is the inability to screw in filters in front of it, something that the Apexel can do.
Really? Did you purchase them? Am considering the apexel but worried it wouldn't take a variable ND or it will work with a 82° main camera?

Friend, can you please help me, I like to record concerts with my cell phone. I already have an external microphone to improve the sound and it works excellent. Now I would like to know if there is a lens to zoom in a little without losing so much quality. I am at most 8-10 meters from the band and I want to zoom in without losing much quality. thank you so much.
I have an iPhone 12 with a Ulanzi case and an Apexel lens. It is said that the screw is same, but the thread on my Apexel 2x lens seems different?? There is a 5mm gap between the phone lens and the back lens of the Apexel.
Could you confirm if you also have this gap? I don't have the Ulanzi lens.

I have ulanzi 65mm and it’s awesome but is to heavy weight. More depth of field background. I’m trying some video with kase 135mm and is amazing blur but a lot distortion.

Hi David…I am using this lens for video,on the iphone SE 2020 with the lens attachment case. The alignment is perfect, but still there is visible blur on sides and edges. Inorder to get rid of this, I need to zoom in either in the camera or crop in while editing. Both ways, I am losing resolution.
Is there a way to solve this?

Great review as always, I love the video and am about to get myself the Ulanzi, my user case is however a bit unusual and would love to get your opinion. My selfie camera 25 MP Camera Sensor is amazing for my use case, unfortunately with no AF function, hence no Bokeh/DOF, can I mount and use this to get some DOF filming with my selfie Camera (video) ? Have you tried that yet or could you? Thanks in advance

Hi, can you send me some Raw made with the Ulanzi 65mm? I do astrophotography with cell phone, and I was researching this model of lens. I already use a 135mm, but I would like to have one with a shorter focal length, but it's kind of hard to find a cell phone that doesn't have a lot of distortion...
Hai, Which is the best focal length lens for mobile portrait photography If the object (consider a dog) is under 50ft distance.

What a useless video. Doesn't even show what the image looks like without the lens converter on so we can't even see the difference.
