COOL TRUE STORY: Marshawn Lynch and Justin Forsett (the current RB for the Ravens) joined the Cal Berkeley football team the same year 2004, they were room-mates as Freshmen and Marshawn even taught Forsett how to drive and helped him get his Driver's License. They were also on the Seattle Seahawks together for a time before Forsett wasnt resigned. When Forsett got married Lynch was one of his 10 Groomsmen. To this day they remain close friends and they describe it as "brothers". Forsett texts him Bible Verses nightly.

Lynch and Forsett were freshmen in 2004 when Aaron Rodgers as a Junior lead the Bears to a 10-1 regular season record with their only loss to No. 1 USC in close 23-17 game. Pretty fucking good if you ask me lol and Jackson didn't join the Bears until the following year when Rodgers went to the NFL.

Beast mode and AP realy have an interesting connection. they were 1 and 2 running back comming out of high school, 1 and 2 running back selected in the NFL draft in 2007 (both came out as juniors), and now, with a little contreversy here and there, they are 1 and 2 in the NFL. It's weird that Peterson always seems to be with the better team (except as of recent of course) and Lynch's team is meteogre often, (once again not as of recently).
Lynch and Peterson are completely different running backs, though. Peterson is more of a traditional RB, relying on gaps and cut runs to pick up yardage. Lynch bruises through people, perhaps not picking up as many yards on average, but getting yards where Peterson and others would not be able to. He powers through the defense, instead of running by them. If you have a weak offense, Lynch can get the job done on his own.
"Lynch's teams are mediocre before recently? Are you sure? Lynch's Cal teams were very good. They were ranked #4 in 2005.
