- Allow me to share a snippet of the beauty of Carcar's performance during the Sinulog sa Carmen 2023.
It has been known that technical issues arose during their performance resulting to a not full-blown musicality.
I have edited my own video putting the supposed-to-be musical arrangement of their whole performance; for us to see the real beauty of the Sinulog dance! The audio was taken from Jah Ravs who uploaded a video during their rehearsals few hours before the showdown.
What a feast to our EARS! Hands down to the great minds of Carcar City! Truly, a Culture of Excellence in Music and Arts!
This was a big glow up since their loss to Sinanduloy last 2020, I also noticed that the musicality improved a lot better than their old tone. Napansin ko na na ang ganda ng musicality nila when they performed sa Sinulog sa Kabataan, pero nagtaka ako kung bakit nagka-gano’n sa Sinulog sa Carmen ang musicality? Then, the news reached me na nagka-tech problem daw. The chance was a sayang for Carcar, and many people let them down on their top picks-even me who rooted for Talisay to be the champion. Pero okay lang din naman na sila ang winner because as you can see, they did a good job here and they showcased their performance as beautiful as their Sinulog sa Kabataan’s making them the grand winner. No doubt that Carcar is now versatile in terms of Musicality. A big glow up for them, kudos. ❤️
kaya siguro nanalo ang carcar city because consistent althroughout the routine, Talisay's performance was gorgeous and the choreography palong-palo kaso medyo nasiksik nang husto yung musical parts kaya parang it was many performances put into one. I like the drums more sa Kabataan performance nila though, mas maganda ang flow
@@makotopark7741 yeah, in Talisay’s term, the electric guitar was a game changer. For Carcar, it was the synthesizer and the strings that carried the musicality in my perspective. An even fight and a close one. Ano pa kayang káyang gawin ng Carcar at Talisay sa mga susunod na Sinulog?
Makes me proud, as a Carcaranon, is that Talisay's choreographers, some dance masters, and some dancers are also from Carcar. It is the team that led Carcar's Pasigarbo and Sinulog contingents from 2010 to 2020 with the administration at that time. With a new mayor in 2022, a new team was ushered for Carcar thus the previous team moved to MDC team. If you look at Kabkaban 2022, both groups were utilized by different schools. What is consistent is the only lady main choreographer, a DepEd teacher, and supervisor, Dr. Estenzo, who comes up with the concepts, finetunes the music, and oversees the dance. So almost all these choreographers have worked under her. In Pasigarbo 2022, she was a consultant for Toledo and Minglanilla. Also, besides Cacar, 6 other Pasigarbo contingents were taught by Carcaranons.
With or without the full blown music, the concept and routine already sufficed. But yes, the supposed musical arrangement adds more flavor to this performance. Congratulations, still, to CCD.
