I believe men are men and women are women. They are not interchangeable. Men cannot have babies or periods. That is biological reality. If you have a problem with that, YOU have a problem.
The sad part of all this is, I've engaged with many people online about this, and I discovered that most of the people hating on her NEVER EVEN READ the "offensive" comments. They only read the articles berating her. People really need to start doing their research.

I am fairly certain it was most people who were in favor of what JKR said. It is just that the types of people who do not like truth, are often the loudest, and nastiest. Also, for some reason, a lot of people seem to want to act as if those people are victims, stroke the egos of those people, and treat them with kiddie gloves.

JK Rowling did nothing wrong. She just spoke the truth and never backed down even when the Woke tried to force her to. I admire her even more for that. She is amazing as a writer and as a person, and for that she showed us how much Harry Potter came from her. Because her character would not have backed down either. In fact, we saw this whole thing play out like her book "Order of the Phoenix", where no one is believing Harry that Voldemort is back and trying to silence him. But we all know the story and how it ends, and again, Rowling stands Victorious with Harry. She literally is practicing what she wrote on paper in life which is an absolute rarity alive today.

Yes! The freedom to speak the truth is a big theme in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. And don't forget, Hermione (who Rowling says is largely based on herself) stands up to the Ministry too and helps Harry spread his story.

I was curious so I looked up JK's, "controversial", remarks. The only things she's ever said in regards to women and the trans community are simple facts and common sense. She has only ever spoken up in defense of real, actual, biological women. She's got nothing to apologize for.
The main issue in regards to JKR is not what she has said or done, but what those trans activists assumed about her statements and her actions. These activists always do the same - put words in someone elses mouth and fight against them, to get the morality points. They need a villain and used her as a proxy for one. Far from rational complaining.

She’s a novelist and that’s where it should end! I don’t read her books because of her political, social or religious views. If those things were my criteria for selecting books, magazines, movies, TV shows, sports and any other form of entertainment, I wouldn’t end up reading, watching or consuming much of anything.
