মাদার তেরেসা নামটি শুনলেই চোখে ভেসে ওঠে নীল পার সাদা শাড়ী পরিহিত এক খ্রিষ্টান সন্ন্যাসী বৃদ্ধার কথা। ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশে বাস করেন, কিন্তু মাদার তেরেসার সম্পর্কে জানেন না। এমন লোক খুজে পাওয়া দায়। তাই নয় কি? কিন্তু জানেন তো কতটুকু জানে তাঁর সম্পর্কে?
ছোটবেলা থেকে বিভিন্ন পাঠ্যপুস্তক বা ম্যাগাজিনে তার সম্পর্কে আমাদের এমনটাই দেখানো হয়েছে যে তিনি ইউরোপের বাসীন্দা হওয়া সত্ত্বেও ভারতের কলকাতাই এসে এই উপমহাদেরশের পীড়িত মানুষ দেখে তাঁর মহানুভবতার থেকে সারাটা জীবন এই উপমহাদেশের মানুষের সেবাই কাটিয়ে দিয়েছেন। কিন্তু তা কতটা সত্য? তা দেখবো তথ্যচিত্রের আজকের পর্বে।
