Adding lighting to Jubilee Road

  • In this video I add street lighting to the city area of the layout. I show you hope i do it using the Woodland Scenics just plug lighting system. Its the easy way to add lighting to any layout.

    Well done Matt, very effective sodium lighting. I knew what you meant re shouting and swearing at fine wires when they don't do what you want them to do...I had that with wiring my N gauge colour light signals, all finished now thank goodness. All the best, maybe see you one day...

    Black gaffer tape is great for light block. I used it on my Mobius 2001 pod.

    Matt, that fine wire through the baseboard...... beg, steal or borrow a darning needle. The ends of the fine wire should go through the eye of the needle, and then through the baseboard?

    Great video on these products. I have been eyeing these off for future use so really got alot from this video and the street lamps look great. Got to admit you have been busy and the layout is looking really nice! All the best, Clint
