Regardless of whether or not you're going to take these figures off the card, it's a shame those that pack and ship these items don't recognise or care that they're collectables. Some cool additions to the collection anyway Deano!
I agree. It's not that big of a deal to me since most are getting opened. There are a lot of collectors that have the carded figures graded. 💪🤓
@@geekstrong1even if you purchased on eBay and plan to open, I'd get a refund on that figure. Anyone who receives a damaged carded figure shipped in a padded envelope like that deserves their money back. Sheesh.
Agreed, nobody gives a 💩 about shipping product correctly other than collector to collector. Truly unbelievable and totally unacceptable! Awesome overview of just how bad the situation has become 👍🏽

Your Jabba display looks perfect! Mailers are the worst. I know Walmart online has an option to select your order as a “Gift” and thus they will pack it with more protection.

Most of the people at Walmart and Amazon barely make a minimum wage, so I don't think they do care much about how things work. Plus most people just don't understand the collector's market
I was mostly surprised at the way Hasbro packed their figures that got scratched. 💪😲 that's because there case boxes are too small.
I think it has more to do with mentality than how much $$$ is made. I worked minimum wage when I was younger and always cared about the work I did. Some people don't give a crap even if they are making good money. Amazon, Walmart, and Target all suck with shipping carded figures. Target is the worst with their damn stickers!
I've found that BBTS have the best shipping habits in the business I've never had one problem with them.
Totally agree….wish they had packed multiple bespin guards or stormtroopers instead of all those Lando figs. Might have helped with stock numbers for TVC for that wave. I’m still finding multiple of them hanging in my Walmarts and Targets 2 years later.😢

I completely understand regarding the shipping issues. Regarding Ebay, I would always leave a comment in the checkout to secure the item(s) carefully. Great pickups Geek Strong. 🙂💪

Yeah man I’ve come to find that ordering collector grade TVC figures from Big Bad Toy Store is the only way to truly guarantee it will arrive in good shape. You have to pay a few bucks more but think it’s worth it if you plan to keep one on card and condition is important to you.

BBTS usually packs them good. The best I've had so far is Nerdzoic toy store. 100% well packed so far.
For the price these TVC figs are reaching, it's totally unacceptable to be bent/crushed.
Nerdzoic, I would suspect to be the best at packing since he is a collector and youtuber who knows all about how we like minty items. 💪😎 Hasbro really needs to be consistent, between thin to thick cards and scratches ect.
OMG that Fortress of Fangs is MINT......I have mine but its missing a lot. I offered to GIVE it to a local store to see if they can sell it....they didnt want it. I will keep it and hopefully one day just pass it off to another person who actually wants it.

I got my Vader and Stormtroopers from Amazon just fine. All perfect cards. I wasn’t able to find a Leia or R2 yet. After seeing those in videos in hand, I do want them now. hopefully I’ll eventually find them or just get them on BBTS.

I did get a Leia this morning off Amazon. She went back up at regular retail price. They must have got more in overnight. Now just need the R2.
It seems I haven't received a package in mint condition in months. It's almost like the giant FRAGILE on the box is a mandate for abuse. My 1/32 SS TIE fighter was literally flattened. My $500 Bandai Falcon's box is trashed. And every time I'm expecting a package from USPS, I get phishing texts saying my package is delayed and they need info and more money - It appears that USPS or maybe Amazon is leaking my delivery data? I miss Mom & Pop Hobby & Game shops so bad. There's nothing convenient about damaged collectables or the hazards of online shopping.
I always dread ordering online. 💪😲

I've figures from ebay normally in a box can be annoying if it's in a jiffy as a carded figure amazon UK usually put a single carded figure in a carded envelope. Carded figures I normally get from I.D.TOYS and star action figures packed nicely in a box with protection. Or I might find carded figures I want in the entertainer toy store going cheap like bib fortuna £4 miff man mandalorion £4 disco lando and vel going around £5-£8
