I finally made the two cutting boards and I also saved a lot of time and mess by a method I found to run them thru my thickness planer

At the beginning I thought you said 2 boards. Did you combine 2 boards or end up with 2 identical boards?
I ended up with 2 identical boards with different brick pattern as I showed at the end of the video

That is really great. I can certainly see myself doing something akin to it. I think making the solid corner into a small basket weave would be nice.
I would prefer having a voice over rather than the captions. They are distracting. They take away from following the work you were doing. Also, the music was so bad I had to mute it.
Nicer music cost money and this channel does not make big profit so sorry about it. I would do voice over but english is not my first language so captions is the best option for me . Thanks for comment ;)
I’ve been building this board for about a month (maybe more) and it’s not as easy as you make it look. A warning for people who try this. DONT use wood that has previously been glued up into boards as they will break and fall apart when you are cutting them into the 18mm or 9.5mm strips. But hey ho, it’s all a learning curve
No one of my boards is easy to make 😀 but worth it

I am in the country where broadband signal is very poor so I can not watch youtube and do not have this board with me. As soon as I back home I will try to answer your question
Don’t worry about it I will figure it out. It seems like every CZcams video about carpentry either has no measurements or only a few, it’s all just a tease to get people to watch, I have watched the video at least 15 times but I will make it despite the lack of plans
I'm not sure of exactly how you did it, I saw an awful lot of marking and drawing of lines,for all I know, you made a wooden block and drew the bricks on the block!
If this video is not clear enough for you I would recomend to you try and do easier one. This one is really hard to do
Did you trim the boards at the border lines?
I am not sure I understan your question. If you meant trimming before glue up border/frame answer is yes, a little bit
