Here are his exact instructions:
Search for the app "modes and routines", and create a new routine. Tap on "add what will trigger this routine" and search for nfc and scan the tag. Now tap on "add what this routine will do", search "show custom notification" and write the card. If you want the notification to get to your galaxy watch make sure that the "modes and routines" notifications are allowed in the galaxy wearable app

I would love more tarot ideas! I’ve bought a few tarot deck because I’m interested in learning how to incorporate them into some kind of routine or something without necessarily knowing how to do a full traditional tarot reading.

BTW you don't have to buy a double decker - there are very fine methods for splitting standard cards to front and back. You can then put the chip in and glue the two halves together

Good idea Jonathan however you will not be able to prepare a full deck with nfc inside each card without changing the box, a full deck with nfc in each card will add to the thickness approx 8 to 10 more cards thicker.
Yeah, the downside is that would make the project go from under an hour to the better part of a working day. On the other hand it does allow you to use whatever deck you want.

Love this, Thanks for sharing! I would definitely like to see some more Tarot tricks made. I made a few versions of haunted deck using Tarot cards. Spooky magic is always a lot of fun, you are one of my favorite magicians because of that, and your skill of course. I am a fellow Magician and work at a Magic Shop in Myrtle Beach if you are every in SC. Also if you could make a video of a ouija board planchette with a magnet inside and another in or on your shoe to move it under the table would be awesome as well. You’re very welcome Kelvin! Yeah buying the double decker was my hurdle lol I couldn’t find it on VI or Murphy’s or anywhere. You can only get them through card shark. But even splitting half the card like and putting the sticker there should work
Did a similar thing but with splitting the cards. Yes it took longer and I had to redo like 2 or 3 cards but I just saw it as practice for card splitting.
This is amazing I have no other words because I have lost the English language to describe this trick in any other way except amazing.

So several years ago I sprung for the RFID deck which is a way too expensive version of your deck. Let me tip my presentation, and I have never shared this with anyone. I had the deck triggering a mp3 of me saying the name of the card on a loop. Then I had my phone going to a bone conduction speaker in a thumb tip. I held hands with the person who selected the card (after they had slipped it into my pocket behind my back, where my phone was) and put my other hand onto the head of a second spectator (placing the speaker onto the correct bone) When I read the mind of one spectator and transmitted the thought to a second spectator, I could walk away, because nothing would ever feel more magical than hearing my voice in their head. I thought about marketing this, but it was cost prohibitive. Most people don’t buy $500 tricks.

I didn’t go into I’m the android section, since I don’t have one but I briefly mentioned going to the Play Store and getting NFC Tools and/or the name escapes me. But with those apps you should be able to set it up with android having seen me do it with iPhone lol that was a mouth full. But dude, if you need help setting it up, k gotchu, let me know and I’ll jump on a call with you. @@djrizzaxfauzycc8088 it works on android too. The NFC chips you can get from Amazon, I put everything you need to put this together in the description. Phones now a days have nfc readers so your phone is the device. You can have it sent to one of your own devices or a friends to get your notification.

@@djrizzaxfauzycc8088 the apps for android are NFC Tools, I can’t remember the other one off the top of my head, I mentioned it on the video. The distance is around 1-2 inches or a little more. When it gets near it, it’ll trigger your set up

@@HerrRabe_zaubert it all depends on what you like to read. I prefer 100% using a Tarot de Marseilles, more specifically the CBD Tarot, Jean Noblet and Nicolas Conver. The reason I go with these is because they are the oldest and closest to the original tarot that we know of with the least alterations. The CBD Tarot you can find here: amzn.to/3odvNSI the other ones there’s some really good restorations that kept it as close to the original at artisantarot.com hope this helps and have fun!!

I just finished making my nfc deck. I will get nfc tools pro in some time soon, and I'll use the Google assistant action in the app to tell the assistant to message me the named card.

I made this 5 years ago but with an raspberry Pi inside a close-up pad. You actually can file down this little chip inside the nft tag to make it as flat as the card itself. Making it a completely normal deck of playing card. You hide the cutout inside the circle of Bicycle Playing Cards.
inside closeup pad is smart. i used RFID wires and reader was in my pocket where they were instructed to put card.

Hi Javier i'm releasing a méthod in France in 2018 with nfc and a lot of application and material what type of NFC are you using ? Because it's very difficult for nfc chip to pass trough table
I’m using the largest NFC I could find, as long as it fits inside the card, you’ll be good. Over 12mm in diameter is going to work best. The larger the antenna, the wider the range you’ll get. Since you’re in France, I’m not sure which you can get, but keeping in mind those specifications, should steer you in the right direction

That would be so good!! Unfortunately not like that. The most I’ve been able to do is three cards in top of each other, one at a time
you don't have hide the phone you could just place the card under the phone as a holder
Thanks very much. One issue is how do you read the information on your phone, but without the audience seeing you look at your phone. Going to your phone is suspicious.
I’m actually looking at my watch. But if you’re using your phone. You could pretend you got a text message, or you’re putting it in silent, you can also have it somewhere where only you can see it. If you have Siri so she reads the messages on your headphones then you could even be blindfolded. If you’re in another room, then you could just look at it. I encourage you to think about where you will perform and what would be the best way to get your peek for that specific place. Hope this helps

Hey javier. Just got the nfc stickers. I tried setting them up to text me when theyre scanned but when I scan a tag it asks me which way do I want to text it and then i also have to tap send. How can i set it up to not do that?
Hey dude!! Happy to hear you got them! When you’re setting up the automations make sure you turn off the option to ask before sending the message. If you look back in the video where I’m doing the set up on the phone, do one with me following those steps and it shouldn’t ask you. It will send it automatically as soon as it scans it
@Javier Fuenmayor i believe the problem is that there isn't an option to *send* messages in the nfc tools app, only to *compose* messages. It says here in the app the the option to send messages isnt available since Google blocked it
@@KingO.K you could see if there’s another option other than text message or try to find a way to automate text messages and follow those instructions with the NFC tag. Unfortunately I don’t have any android devices or have people around with any yo test it out. You could also ask ChatGPT, super helpful. You can also try another NFC app for androids. I can’t remember the other one I mentioned in the video. Let me know what you find out
@Javier Fuenmayor I see there is an option in the pro version of nfc tools to send a notification but I don't want to spend more money on this if im not 100% sure itll work. Ill research more about this but from what I found, it isn't really possible. So I got 60 nfc stickers for no reason🫤

Supper Hi tech deck so easily should have been a dealer item But I wont complain as many others wont as well. Your Camera work needs work as you chopped off your wife head lol. Good Tarot card effects are rare so anything you come up with will be appreciated as a whole act can be built up around the method especially if the cards are aged in appearance. When working I used to use effects from ''Thirteen'' by Tony Shiels. Also his work Daemons, Darklings and Doppelgangers .And his book''Bizare' any work by Basil Horwitz might also inspire. Keep creating it keeps inspiring .......
