- This is the Day 7 video of the Royal Caribbean Cruise on Anthem of the Seas, from Southampton, September 2022.
On day 7, the last day of the cruise, we stopped at Le Havre. From there we visited the cities of Le Havre and Honfleur, two very different cities separated by the Seine.
Le Havre was heavily destroyed in the WWII, and hence have a very modern feel to all its buildings.
Honfleur, on the other hand, didn't get bombed during the WWII, and it has retained a very attractive feel to its old town, particularly the old harbour area Le Vieux Bassin.
To go from Le Havre to Honfleur, we used the shuttle service by Bee Le Havre:

Sehr schönes Video. Danke.
Danke schön! I am glad you enjoyed the video. 😊
Ken,thank you so much for the information, very clear instruction and the descriptions of each sight you visited.
Thanks a lot for your comment! I'm glad that you found the video helpful.
Thanks for the great video. It convinced me to visit Honfleur on my upcoming cruise.
Enjoy your cruise. You won’t regret visit Honfleur, it’s a stunning place.
Hey Ken! We went to Paris that day! We did cross that bridge enroute! Awesome pix from inside of the cathedral!..
Wow that must have been a long day. When we did the coach transfer from Honfleur to Paris in May, it took almost 4 hours. I hope your trip to Paris didn’t take as long and that you got to enjoy the sights of Paris.
I am doing this cruise next year and I’m really enjoying your vlogs. They are really informative and interesting.
Thanks, I am glad you enjoyed them. Hope you have a great cruise next year.
What a great professional presentation loved the video
Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed it!
I will be hitting Le Havre next year so was interested in your blog. May I say that your pronunciation is excellent.
Thank you. I hope you enjoy your trip there.
very good mister. Very very good :)
Merci beaucoup, Oliver.
Hi we are going to le harve soon did you book your bus trip to in advance or in le harve thanks for a great video
We just turned up and bought it at Le Havre. They have two tours, 11 am and 12:45. We chose the later one for two reasons. When we got off at Le Havre, we headed to Place Perret to get the tickets first. This way we secured the tickets for 12:45, and we then knew we had like 3 hours to explore Le Havre. When you finish the tour at Honfleur, they will take you back to Le Havre, but they will stop at the cruise terminal first, so that saves you the trouble of getting the transfer back from Le Havre city centre.
@KenTravels360 thank you for answering
Ken where did you get the shuttle service? Is it provided by the ship or you purchased it by the port. Thank you I like your videos it’s very helpful!
The shuttle was provided by Bee Le Have and we bought the ticket directly from them. Thanks for watching!
Hello, is there any other means of transportation (bus) to that port city? Honfleur thank you!
We will be on this cruise in April 2024. Leaving from New Jersey and ending in South Hampton. Did the stop in Le Havre offer excursions to Normandy?
Yes they do I believe. By Normandy I guess you are referring to the D Day beaches?
I also will be on the crossing on April 2024. I was in Honfleur in 1977.
Honfleur probably hasn’t changed much over the years.
@KenTravels360 Yes. My husband is a diehard history buff, and the beaches are a huge chunk of his bucket list.
