But also, "Link's Awakening", "Select Screen (Zelda)", "Sword Search", "Marin's House", "Let the Journey Begin!", "Mabe Village", "Seashell Mansion", "Marin & Link Duet", "Ballad of the Wind Fish [Japanese Vocals]", "Dream Shrine", "Tal Tal Heights", "Staff Credits", and all the dungeon level tracks.
I was disappointed in it, but nothing could ever beat the emotional depth of the original
Minish Cap is probably one of my all time favorite handheld games. The story, music, and controls for a GBA game were stellar for it's time/technological capabilities. This game will always have a special place in my heart.

I got curious of the handheld zelda music since besides link's awakening, phantom hourglass, and a bit of the oracle games, I hadn't heard the others' full soundtrack or played the other games. Spirit tracks' overworld theme is the most memorable and the exception. But then I get to the minish cap, and the soundtrack was just so good in comparison to the others - remixes of old songs certainly helped. It's like they finally realized the soundtrack needed care too, instead of just getting by. Link between worlds was also a great one. Triforce heroes was good from what I remember but I never finished it.

Opening with the Link's Awakening remake track was great. That has to be one of not the best remakes I've ever played. It felt like a lot of love was put into it, including musically.

the ocean/riverside from triforce heroes is literally my favorite track out of all the games. nothing can beat the nostalgia i feel when i listen to this one compared to the others.

I loved the OST for the Link's Awakening remake, I'm glad you opened with it's staff roll (ironically), it's a beautiful piece and haven't seen any kind of appreciation towards it. I'm a bit bummed regarding Ryo Nagamatsu's departure from Nintendo (I always thought his music in general was underrated among the community) as I thought he really outdid himself with the remake and wanted to see more of him in the Zelda franchise, but apparently that's not going to happen. Either way, I wish him well in his future endeavors.
If you haven't already, this should be a series for Nintendo games. Love underappreciated music!

It’s interesting because he’s right, these are all great themes, but since Zelda is a sea of amazing music, these pieces often get left out in a medley or your average Zelda & Chill playlist. And I’ve played many of these games but I was shocked at how many I didn’t know or DID know but couldn’t guess what game they were from. It actually challenged me to listen more closely to the instrumentation of the piece and guess what game it was based on the style of that game’s music (which was very fun). Thanks for making this playlist!
A track that is extremely underappreciated imo is "Vah Naboris 1 terminal"
It sets such a mysterious and relaxing mood.
Hearing Hyrule Town from Minish Cap made me so emotional. It's genuinely my favorite Zelda of all time, it got me into the games. I'm so glad you included Minish Cap. Thank you.
I listen to a lot of loz music during work, but most lists get pretty repetitive after a while. Thanks for this list! I love the handheld titles, but a lot of their music gets slept on. Sword search and skull dungeon my beloved!

personally pokemon hast the best OST, very experimental, takes risks but with huge payoff and sounds very nostalgic and beautiful. Sonic also has many bangers but is a bit inconsistent .

I’m still to embarrassed to ask my band director to have us play the main zelda battle in a concert. I might just have to mention it now.
