Walcott on his day can put in great performances only problem was he was inconsistent but the talent was there

At half time I cried myself to sleep. Then at 90 min my dad woke me up saying itâs 4-4 and I let out the most high pitch cheer ever đđ
Was in college then and those Chelsea and Man u fans were really laughing at us...I remember I was the only arsenal fan in the front row when the fourth goal went in....at halftime I was surrounded by our rivals who couldn't stop making fun at us...I took a 20 dollar bet that we were going to win... when we scored the third goal the room was silent... I mean dead silent
My mate left the game at half time.. still to this day give him stick for it lol

I like rooting for the underdogs but this game Reading were close to being winners.
And WON THE WORLD CUP
Arshavin played really well that game and was the reason for the comeback, miss the guy
loved him
I always thought we played him in the wrong position out in the wing. He was much better inside.
@@chrischamberlain2168 Yes, he always played under the striker before moving to the arsenal.P.S. Bendtner is one of the worst forwards I have ever seen, if not for him, Arshavin would have 115 more assists.
From that amateur mistake in the 3-0 to an absolute monster under the goalposts.Well done Emi.
Wasn't it the 2-0?
the expression is between the goalposts. Martinez is a rat.
Coming back to this makes you realise how long Emi Martinez has been at the club & deserves the chance heâs getting now. Top class đ

As an Argentinian and a fan of Arsenal, I watched this match live. I found out that the goalkeeper was also Argentine and I couldn't believe it. He had his mistakes, I notice him nervous. But even so he had potential, from that moment whenever he played (due to Leno's injury) I watched him grow. I'm so proud to know that you just gave us a World Cup đ€§ I love you Dibu â€ïž
I remember I watched it from the Reading section (though I'm an Arsenal fan as my friend played for the uni squad and managed to find us tickets for this game). It was devastating to see 95% of the Arsenal fans left the stadium after Reading's 4th goal. All my friends mocked me and laughed and I was sad and a bit frustrated but obviously wanted to take full value from my ticket. By the time we scored the 4th and equalised, I fully revealed myself and was singing and shouting like crazy (among the Reading fans, I just didn't care!). When we won I was the happiest man alive and I'm so glad I stayed the whole game! The game just sums up Arsenal - a truly "Arsenal" rollercoaster experience! That's why we love this club COYG â€ïž
I'm not even an Arsenal or Reading fan but this is one of the best games ever. My personal favourite and its never talked about nowadays.

What a comeback that was. To this day, I don't understand how we came back from 4 goals down at half time to win the game. We showed incredible fight and mental strength which is what we want to see. đđ
I still donât know how we went down 4 goals to begin with
@@Oa1565 haha
@@Oa1565 same
Aubameyangfc Reading was just really good in the early stages of the game. They put a lot of energy into their attack in the beginning, which probably tired them down enough for us to take advantage as the game progressed. Perhaps Arsene Wenger could've done better to prepare for Reading's strategy, but he did well to organize a comeback.
@@Oa1565 lol seriously. I was like how the heck is it possible that we're down by 4!

@Debziez ok
Yes, the important match for Emi Martinez to become main goalkeeper for argentina national football team and win them a world cup
Ashavin was world class, Theo Walcott world class
Back when Martinez was a young boy and left Arsenal in 2020 as a LEGEND
Quite tough to imagine that Martinez would play a key role in helping Messi win his 1st major tournament 9 years after this game.

Emi Martinez's patience and hardwork have been paid off. He's the reigning world champion right now. I can't be more happy for him eventhough he's no longer playing for Arsenal.
God's sake man, I've heard commentators more enthusiastic about a 0-0 match

Liverpool are actually a top team regardless of who they play. Reading are farmers.
this kind of mad errors and amazing heroic comebacks were typical of the late Wenger era where players seemed to intentionally want to go down a few first before deciding to come to play and because they were great they often won but it was a hella emotional shredder for us supporters bruh
