I agree about the fine line between the angst and humor. Alex tamed a wild man. Vlamis is an incredible actor. He pulled off hot mess, stud, homeless guy, brilliant scientist, alien, with equal parts smouldering intensity and lighthearted hilarity.

Talk about wanting to laugh and to cry all at once lol... This is the most humorous I've ever seen a vid be for heartwrenching Michael angst. I mean. This is such a creative masterpiece. And then the Alex Manes angst was just perfect angst and didn't need to be funny or fun.
Michael's hair blowing in the wind during the first "Dust collected on my pinned up hair!" Lol but also so many amazing choices throughout this, just Wow! All the happy stuff at the end was really interesting and unique as a creative choice too! "They say what a sad sight" was one of my favorite lyric matches with Michael at the start too. With Alex i loved so so much of it too... Like how he thought they would end up together as his "fantasy", how he feels 17 again whenever Michael looks at him, how he's stuck on how he never got to say goodbye... just everything fits so so well. Oh even the "you don't have to lose it!" Was matched carefully! So good! Oh you got some fun in the tragedy in their "you're trying to leave. The planet" or maybe it's just me who finds that hilarious and can't completely take it seriously as pure sadness. But you did it at the completely perfect part of the lyrics too! Anyway this is just brilliant. Thank you for making it!!
Maybe part of it for me is that I find the song very humorously exaggerated in how sad the picture painted is....so when it's matched so perfectly it feels funny too? Idk if you meant as much of it to be humor as I'm reading it as

@VioletEmerald, his two siblings were adopted and he was left in the orphanage. From that time, he would go lie alone at the crash site in the dessert at night, looking at the sky hoping someone would come and take him home. That's why Alex found him as a teen living in his truck.That story makes me cry just telling it. So I can't laugh about him wanting to go home. 😢
