  • Today I will share different ways to make flour, and you need to prepare: flour, white sugar, vegetable oil, brown sugar, white sesame. Pour flour into boiling water and it instantly becomes a delicacy, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, simple and delicious. I never dreamed of such a thing! I pour the flour into boiling water, I can’t believe that it is so tasty from the pan, it becomes a delicious dish.
    It's easier than a bun. It's better than churros. I am sure that you will do it once and will not forget, the fact is that it is very simple. A beginner can learn it in one go. Let's see how it's done!

      To be real bagels, they have to be boiled in water with barley malt first & then baked. It’s the boiling step that gives bagels a different texture than rolls or regular bread. Obviously, people are free to mix the ingredients for a bagel & just bake it, but it would have a different texture.

I used scale’s when I baked biscuits . so I divided the ingredients by the number of servings in the recipe and treated myself to one once a week, then a fortnight, then monthly until I lost any desire for a biscuit. I had to make one at a time because if I made a batch I would’ve eaten most up in one day if not all. I did something similar with my chicken pot pies I stopped using a bottom crust still used the same large top crust on the individual pot pies after a while I reduced the top to a smaller circle . Oh the last time I made gravy it was about two tablespoons perhaps four of gravy a bit of chicken fat and broth and enough flour to thicken it I had it on the last biscuit with baked chicken.and steamed vegetables 🥦🧅🍠 . We have choices to make. At the moment I have about twelve hours left on my forty eight hour fast that I do weekly. I no longer have pot pie but I’m putting avocado on top of the casseroles when I do eat Asian inspired spicy meals I hope you will find my thoughts useful . Just grate fresh cassava, squeezing it to remove excess water, form into balls and stuff palm sugar as a filling. Then deep fry until golden brown. It's really quick and tasty

      It can be cooked in many of the same ways as potatoes. Cassava grows in tropical & subtropical climates.
      In Indonesia, cassava is one of important sources of carbohydrate after rice & maize. It is cheaper than common potato and we can cook it into various delicious food :-)

      @@endanglestari5415 THANK YOU so much! I'll have to TRY an find it here in the states.... Prolly to no avail?! I've been to Hawaii several times, taro's a big staple in ALOT of the Asian cuisine, am I getting closer?! Haha never used it except powder form in place of cornstarch. ( Well educated chef I am eh?!) Haha

    • @endanglestari5415
      @endanglestari5415 Před rokem

      @Don Clark I guess you'll find it easier in the states under a different but more popular name
      called "yuca". I just realize it now when I see the packaging I've bought here in germany. Sorry for my negligence 😉
      I guess you may obtain the fresh cassava/yuca mostly in asian, african or latin groceries. They also sell "frozen peeled & grated yuca".
      Taro? You mean tapioca flour? That's is our daily purposed flour beside wheat flour & rice flour. You can make a simply delicious steamed layer cake from tapioca flour called "kueh lapis". You just need tapioca flour ( mix with all purpose flour or rice flour ) when you're preferred less sticky/chewy cake , sugar and coconut milk. Mix all into syrupy/pancake consistency and divide the batter into 2 different colors ( original batter and the rest add chocolate powder for example 😋). Then steam into 4 or 6 layers. Wait approximately 10 minutes until the previous layer almost cooked/hardened before adding the next layer.
      There are many tutorial of kueh lapis you can find here in youtube 😀. Have a try and good luck Chef 👨‍🍳

    • @yankeecarolyn376
      @yankeecarolyn376 Před rokem +1

      The advantage of baking over frying would be negligible. If your oil is hot enough it won't soak into the dough, which would make it unhealthy. It you bake it, it won't have the proper texture.
