    Remember though that most of these ships have a unique bit of equipment, which you usually need Starship Design 4 to attach yourself. Some of this gear can remain useful at the end game, such as the 1,500 B shield or 1,600 C shield, or even the 1,950 hull point C reactor with 36 power. The White Dwarf 3015 engine with its 180 top speed is another example; though harder to get early game since you have to side with the Crimson Fleet over SysDef.

    Really useful video!
    I'm not even joking when I say that I was searching for those vendors by myself on Google when I saw the notification of this video 🤯

    War wolf and the stronghold are by far my favorite. I usually build a shield breaker out of Nova parts when I hit my 20’s in lvl. Think it’s the Hildegard if I recall.
    Because of this video I’m now thinking of building a silent runner style with Nova. We will see. Maybe call it the Night Rider.
    Great content here Crimson. Thank you

      War Wolf does give you those extra crunchy particle beams in the early game. War Horse from Neon is the other option, if you just want a nice generator in the early game. If you join the Vanguard early you can easily power 6 Vanguard Obliterators on the War Horse.

      Yeah, the warwolf is very nice. Got that sleek stroud aesthetic with a good colour scheme and really good particles.

    Coffee time. Excellent video, very well put together. A very good encyclopedia of unique ships for Starfield.

    That must have been a bear to track down all of that information. Thank you and well done.
    The thing that I like best about vendor ships, unique or not, is inspiration for my own builds. I've only ever purchased one ship and that was the Stronghold.
    For example, I have a small fighter-ish vessel inspired by the Rambler/Vagabond and a freighter inspired by the Pik-Up. Looking at the Civ Shuttle/Abyss Trekker, I have an idea for a compact A-class variant.
    Coloring ships is my weak point. I like the Nova-Galactic gray-white, Deimos dark gray, or slightly desaturated dark olive green of HopeTech.

    Great video, thanks for the information and research! In my first playthrough I bought the Warwolf pretty early on and it was a great early to mid game ship. The only mods I did was to take out two of the upper cowlings and add some cargo, lack of cargo is the ships only weakness and is very easy to modify for players new to shipbuilding.

    Thanks for explaining this. I saw the Aegis and Hoplite at the Deimos Staryard and wondered why they were selling, what appeared to be, the same ship with two different names.

    Great video, the shield breaker is a ship to upgrade from the frontier and as you level it's easily upgraded to an endgame ship. It was the first ship I bought on my first playthrough. The warwolf is another great choice.

    Ecliptic version of the Vagabond/Rambler would be the Stiletto if memory serves also.

    A special note about the Wanderlust: it's trying to copy the Narwhal by having a special reactor with extra health, in this case offering 1,100 hull at 16 power compared to the 14 power and 505 health of the level 1 requirement B class reactor. But the overall power output is just too low to bother, doubly so considering the vendor's location. Overall the Shieldbreaker in New Atlantis is a very stable B class vessel; the Murasame works for looks but has a power hungry missile launcher.

    Sure, the ships available late game will outclass the unique ones. But I think the idea is to buy them early/mid game and upgrade them -- or they're for people who don't want to put ranks in Starship Design, but don't want to wait until higher levels to get their hands on a good ship.
    I wonder if these were baseline ships that somebody bought, put some credits into upgrading, then gave them a paint job and a unique name ... and then sold when they came across a better ship.

    There is one other Highlander III but only the trade alliance uses it so the only way to get it is a) you must be extremely lucky b) you need to pirate it. So the price depends on the bounty you rack up xD. but it has the fabled 41 power reactor- the only one in the game.
    Some other unique ships you'll find flying around (but again it's always random) is various Valentine ships (I just know the lvl70 one, Voyager III is unique, it has a unique color scheme xD) also there is a 'damaged ship' scenerio. I forget what class it is, but I don't think it's available elsewhere. I could be wrong on that one.
    I hear tales about the Galbank Stormrider III as well... not sure if it's the same as the standard Stormrider III.

    Hi Crimson, how about a video where you cover these ships again, but hide all the armament and equipment to reveal the clean ship beneath? I personally think that the Shieldbreaker and it's cousins are great-looking ships, but often they end up looking like Christmas trees! Imagine a clean Murasami or Aegis!

    Looking at the 'Wanderlust' midway through the description, I notice that the bumpers on the front of the ship are behind the bridge. So, you're coming in a little hot, crush the bridge, kill the bridge crew, but save the rest of the ship. 🤣🤣🤣

    Thanks, didn't know them all. An Idea for to destroy large battleships (I found 3 differents of them, always with 3 normal ships in defense) in "very difficult" mode? Long range missiles?

    • @CrimsonFlyboy
      @CrimsonFlyboy  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Particles would be your best bet, if you can make use of three different types of them. You'll need to get your ships Hull and Shields as high as possible to survive the initial barage

      Merci infiniment!

    • @pdraggy
      @pdraggy Před 5 měsíci +1

      yeah you want the 'disruptor' particle beams. other particle beams are better than missiles, but the disrupter family has an INCREDIBLE 4000+ range (that's been tested out to be further than it even says they can do). I've not put skills into missiles or anything so maybe some skill changes this (I generally ignore combat or ship weapon skills) but if your going in with baseline skills missiles SAY they have 4000 range, but don't lock on until your within 2000m anyway. So maybe they''ll fire straight above 2000, but don't missile lock and hone into the target unless your 2000m.

    The only important part here is the one part you didn't show. Redo this video but edit in entering the ship and going to the cockpit. It's real frustrating buying a ship only to find out you need 3 maps and a degree in ladders just to find the cockpit.
