Excelente timbre voz de éste joven tenor, éxito… Veo algunas críticas hacía el intérprete e incluso contra el maestro, supongo que quienes las hacen, no solo sean atrevidos, sino que puedan ser capaces de cantar un poco y no nada más critiquen por eso cualquiera lo puede hacer.

There are a number of issues that would elevate your singing. There are two or three things you are doing naturally but pop out now and then. This makes it very difficult for you to use your ppp and cross over to ff and back. I like to say, " Too much is not enough, but finding what is enough is a journey." You have good glottal closure but not on your pianos. That is why your tone spins at mf and above. The beauty, however, of your pianissimi could be equal to your forte and is not. The man you sang for here broke his voice from using far too much compression, and then the false vocal folds made his voice too massive. The vocal problems José had were not strictly caused because of his cancer. He had learned to push and never release. It made his voice become dirty and then old sounding long before it should be. A wonderful man, but not on the level of Gigli or Lauri-Volpe. His best recording was the first. He went down lower with every recording he did afterwards. Sorry to be so honest, but a talent like yours will not advance when you receive no useable feedback.
Well, this is useless isn't it? We only get to hear a moment of Carreras's critique and then in a foreign language. So we learn nothing of Carreras's opinion or how the singer might improve. The title of this clip should be Rossen Nentchev sings Lensky's aria, period. Leave Carreras's name out of it because he is certainly left out of this video.
I just dont feel like he did this aria justice. I feel like he didnt understand a word he was saying. Words like "love" in Russian (Lubil) he just cut off multiple times, not giving any care or caress to the words. Also used hand gestures way too much without having any meaning.
You don't understand much about tenor singing, don't you? Your statement is absolutely misplaced. Nentchev needs to learn a lot about interpreting .......and controlling the voice.
@@ilecier Not really. Opera diminished greatly during his time singing compared to previous generations. If anything he did a disservice to the art along with the incompetent idiots running things at the same time.

Sounds very similar to Domingo and other famous tenors. Beautiful voice. Maybe next, some body very important
He does sound similar to Placido Doningo. I wish he had a little darkness in his voice. Too much "squillo" for my taste.
