You actually CAN destroy both Hunting Grounds with 1 Harpie. Just realized after I uploaded this lol. But it worked out anyways.

if both players have it, it doesn't matter who has it, it'll be the exact same for both players.
and sometimes it's good to destroy both if you want to freely set your traps w/o fear of them getting destroyed.

because original harpie is a vanilla so it goes good with order to charge + underdog. as for flip effects, i'm not really scared of them except ladybug since i have 3 star jerry beans. if i think it's ladybug and i wanna avoid it, i'll just order to charge

@gunsblazing when you're in the harpies hunting ground mirror match and you summon a harpie and the only targets are the 2 hunting grounds, target yours first then theirs, the chain resolves backwards and theres gets popped and yours doesn't. saw you made that mistake a couple times just wanted to point it out.
Man i just want to thank you for some reason before i thought it was better to run winged beast with harpies like red skull bird but when my field spell got destroyed things got harder so playing with vanilla warriors like dai has significantly helped me when battling! Now when field spell gets destroyed im still fine! Im also plat 1 with a harpie deck similar to this one

You can set a harpie lady face down without destroying a spell/trap card. then when you later flip summon it, it won't activate harpie's hunting ground, plus it has more DEF than it's ATK while it's facedown...
Of course, if you had another reason for not summoning harpie lady around 11:50, please explain :D I thought t was because you didn't want to kill one of your own cards...
it was a tough one, but i decided i'd rather keep the harpie for trap removal. i know about the set/flip thing. in the end i basically paid 2500 LP to have 1 extra removal... in hindsight, probably not worth, but would've been worth if no black pendant.

@gunsblazing just need some advise on the monster in this hunting ground deck. I'm trying to include 1 tribute monster in this harpies hunting ground deck which is either Dark Flare Dragon (bcs it's special summon effect) or summon skull (bcs it's normal and my oct can be utilize if flood gated) btw i'm using both oct and super rush in my build. Well just for info, i don't have many key card (mirror wall, flood gate etc) yet but i wanna build around harpies. Since i'm only using lvl4 monster card i might have difficulties if i encounter bigger atk monsters or you can some other solution. btw i list out my deck for ref. Thx in advance.

2 Harpie Lady (normal)
1 Harpie Ladie 2 (for it's effect negating monster effect
1 Gale Lizzard

1 Keldo (bcs of it's effect which is to return 2 monster from graveyard to deck *well thinking to counter graveyard summoning in a way..maybe)

just watched the whole thing it was awesome :) tho I have 2 question. how would this deck match against a normal Dino deck? and also I have all ur cards just missing 2 jerry and one axe raider. any suggestion? :)
thanks man. the matchup on dinos is prob 50/50 and it depends on if you draw a harpie and can destroy their field spell. if you do... it should be easy. as for replacements you can either go with strong effect monsters like leotaur or bazoo (but less synergy), or settle for 1650atk normals until you get the beans. you can also put in 1 kuriboh.
good deck men i try to use harpies with relinquished, but relinquished can be a death card in your hand so easy so i think a deck with only normal monsters can be a good option, so you think this deck with only normal monster or using elegant egoist wish is better?

hey you're facing lvl 40 legendary duelists right? and how many points are u getting at the end of the duel usually? be patient, it's a random drop so it may take a while to get it :\
3000-4000 points , but now i start to duel with "Drake Ryu Deck " for farm and i get 5000-6000 points , i have to wait a lot of for that drop me? . sorry for my english , im spanish jeje

is it wise to use the secret of the galants trap card in other PVP decks? the discarding effect is quite useful, but I've never seen it in a duell.
i don't think secrets is good in the current meta. lots of kuriboh and econ shut it down.
I farmed Mai for days now, but never dropped the vanilla harpy... What level did you farm to drop her?
farmed lvl 40's... hmm might just be unlucky, i got 2 drops quite quickly.
How do hybrid harpies matchup to fish and blue-eyes decks?
usually wrecks water decks and blue eyes because you just order to charge after they drop big mons, and harpie can take out umi.
Is there any way to get Order To Charger other than opening Ultimate Rising Packs ?

i know of a decent mountain deck but it doesn't run blue eyes. it's hard to make blue eyes top tier rn.

hey. if king of games only, 13. as for all of ranked, got a bigger streak but can't remember exactly, like 17-20.
i think i could get higher but it gets boring to spam 1 strong deck. :P

haha, that's the beauty of the deck! Plus noone uses Weevil for pvp imo, so just wanted to switch it up competitive wise. Thanks for considering it though!

I have tried to get HHG so much. I don't have a good way to farm legendary duelist with Mia so I feel like it is taking forever. Any tips?
for me, i also didnt have a good way to farm so i settled for 4000-5000 points farming with mai... used a blue eyes/paladin deck, got myself down to 0 cards and boosted blue eyes over 3000 to finish. i was fortunate to get it in a few games. just keep trying i guess

Bean man is best man, he's a staple in a lot of decks so I would try getting him, along with other staples, before anything else. Plus the set he comes in is pretty good.
