I met Rhys years ago when he was working at Tatudharma with josh roelink also Aussie tattoo legend. He is an amazing artist and an absolutely top guy. His knowledge of the industry and his passion for the craft has meant that he has gone out of his way to make sure that Australia’s tattoo history and culture won’t be lost to the future generations of tattoo collectors, artists and enthusiasts. His attitude towards the industry and breaking down the stigma and opening it up to all walks of life especially those that may have been too scared to even step inside a shop. Every time we cross paths whether it be frequently or even years he treats me with genuine interest in me and what’s been happening with me. He listens and cares and he treats every single person he interacts with, clients or not, the same. This to me is one of the biggest reasons why his business is so successful and has an amazing reputation. Congratulations to you Rhys on having the opportunity to pick marks brain he is the GOAT when it comes to business growth and success. Damn Mark. Great work here. I really liked the part where he talks about being an artist or the operations manager. This is a great point and I think it the light bulb went off for Rhys here.
Absolutely love this! It’s so wonderful to see Rhys’s pure and kind energy showcased in this mini series. Little Tokyo is such a peaceful temple, you can truly feel the intentions and purpose in every corner. The energy is electric ⚡️
