40 seconds in and this is already so relatable.

4 or 5 pages is actually pretty impressive, it’s not a book with simple language
I learnt English through reading, and although reading actively (highlighting and annotating) is great, it is so much more fun to read for fun! Your brain will eventually understand grammar and vocabulary subconsciously, so I definitely recommend reading in a foreign language normally too! The more you read for pleasure in another language, the faster you progress (in my experience)
I've done that with English and French and it works really well but when I tried to do it with Korean it was way too hard, maybe because the grammar it's too much different from the languages that I know, in those cases I do recommend studying some grammar and vocab before trying to read something
Good to know I'm not the only one who does a big study session before my italki lesson lolllll
omg i want to get my masters at a korean university too it’s not a coincidence that i found your channel 😳
I also DESPISE yellow. I suppose our boys really played us both this comeback huh?
Hugs to you, friend! 💜💜💜
LOL I KNOW!! THEY DID US DIRTY!! They were like, "are you sure you don't like yellow??"
You can get the Harry Potter ebook in Korean on the Harry Potter website, the one where you find patronuses and stuff, they have a store. Not as good as paper books but if people can't find it, it's worth a look :)
OMG!! That's awesome info! Thank you for sharing! Maybe when I move, I'll invest in the ebooks instead!
YOU HELPED ME FIND THE VIDEO RESOURCES I WAS USING WHEN I WAS IN COLLEGE, I LOVE THESE VIDEOS SM THANK YOU!
The way you study with your italki teacher is so helpful!😁💖 Thanks for sharing~~ I don't have plans to take TOPIK or go to Korean grad school (mad props Natalia), but I think discussing and writing papers might be the next step I need to * ~ level up ~ * in Korean 😬😂
Ahhhh I was able to understand the written Korean Intro text omg!! I know it's not a lot and nothing special but it made me so so happy because PROGRESS!!
Thank you for introducing the "Korean Culture Series & Quick Korean" channel! Exactly the sort of resources I am looking for!
Ahh so excited to watch!!
Just finished the video! Did not disappoint🥰
The amount of progress you’ve made is mind blowing Natalia, seriously congratulations 💜
I am curious as to how much time you tend to spend a day studying?
Anyway keep up the great work 🥳

Awww your “I want to go to Korea and get my masters” so I looked at the date and this was 2years ago. You go girl!!!! Now you’re in Korea!!!🥳🥳🥳
hello 🙋🏽♀️ plss do a review on the app audio clip, it has audio dramas for Korean learners, I'm not intermediate so I don't know which one is for beginners and I would love if u do a video on it
Thanks!
So, how do you actually add words in memrise? I've been wanting to do that since such a longggg time but i never figured it out:'')
❤️❤️❤️
What is the app name you are using called ? The one u use to review vocabulary
I'm a beginner and I'm struggling with batchim, do you have any tips and advice that can help me understand better?
I have final exams starting tomorrow and it will end on 9 June after that I will have some breaks for 2 months I will study Korean in that time
I have a copy of Korean Harry Potter off Amazon but I don't know where to get part 2
Am I the only one who loves and wanna steal your Bt21 products 😂BTW, I enjoy your vlogs so much
what are some good beginner novels that helped u?
Thanks for such a great video! I also use iTalki and was curious about how many times a week you take lessons?
Usually I'm only taking 1-2 per week but lately I bumped it up to 3-4 because I really want to finish the textbook my teacher and I have been using haha
For Memrise how do you get the whole course for free?
P.S I love your vids❤️❤️❤️❤️
Finally!!! A new video 🥺 am not calling you lazy or anything btw 😒 or am I 😏 jk jk 🤪
omg thank you so much for sharing your tips i should def study like you. I have one question - how do you make your article into a PDF like at 4:20? Thank you :)
I've actually been taking screenshots of my article and then writing on it in GoodNotes! Daum won't let me save the article as PDFs in a nice way.
i've already memorized hangul and basic phrases, but i dont know where to go from there, how to build up my vocabulary and such. do you have any advice?
I've studied with TTMIK. They have a free course for their grammar books, and it really helped me as a beginner 🤗
They don't teach a lot of vocab tho.
do the korean course on memrise starting with Korean 1. it is free and you will learn a lot of vocab and phrases. also the "my first 500 korean words" textbook by ttmik is really good, too. it teaches you 500 korean words which are commonly used. i really enjoy these two resources, so maybe you will too :D
can you add some black stroke in your text cuz sometimes it's hard to see
Whose sang the 2nd song?
Hey I'm from India...and wanna. To learn korean ....can you please help me out...
Is it really really necessary to have the study guide with every Ewha Korean textbook?
Please share ur brace experience..
Hey Natalie💜💜I see got braces, and am new sub too! anyways does it hurt to get braces ik it's kind of wierd to ask but I'm curious cuz I'm getting mine in 5 days😭
Mmmmm it hurts for the first few days, but after that you don't notice them. Every time you get your wire changed or have to wear bands, it will hurt a bit, but not like the day you got them on
btw if you replying to comments, Do you have a Korean language class using Google Meet? To teach people who are interested in the Korean language ..
Mmmmm no? Are you referring to the study sessions I organize on IG? If so, those are just study sessions. We meet for accountability, not to actually study together if that makes sense. We study independently, but do so while on a video call to increase productivity.
I have trouble sticking with studying, any advice? T-T
Romans 10:9-10 💕✝️
Now you are in????♡♡♡♡♡😊😊😊
Can you tell me what's name of this song its too good 😅
@@NataliaGarza 사랑해 좋아해 something 😅 but to be real your video is osm man love you from India 💜❤
Do you think self learning is possible to take a topik exam ?
@@chi.tp1362 i think she also attended special class like one by one teaching
@@thirimyatthu6646 yeah but that wasn't intell after her living abroad in Korea.
I think it is completely doable as long as you learn the basics from a teacher. I have studied Korean since 2016, took basics at a 1 lecture/week type of language class (August to April type of thing) here in Finland for 2 years (2016 fall to 2018 fall) and after that, I have been just self-studying. I passed TOPIK Level 4 in the 2019 spring so I think it is doable as long as you are motivated. My next goal is to pass Level 5 next year as I really want to do a master's in Korea someday.
you’ve been learning korean for four years? are you fluent?
1:25 if you wanted to cover her face, maybe should've used like an emoji that has more coverage?
No worries. I had the video checked by the ppl in it before posting. They approved the emoji/coverage/no coverage.
Yep that's better, in the last video you looked completely drained
😅😅😅 I was trying to be chill since I wanted to follow the voiceover style of video haha I'm fine~
dude the feeling of going back to material that was too hard and being able to understand it now is the best feeling!
Forreals~ Ugh it's still hard but compared to last time, it's a piece of cake 😂😂
