      There is a ‘reason’ why Vince got retired.
      Tammy and Vince were swapped at the last moment due to when the storm formed. So Tammy was going to be Vince, and Vince was going to be Tammy.
      Tammy then was supposed to be retired, but Vince still got retired.

    Just realized something - it's stated at the end that Katrina had an ACE of *95*. For comparison, Cyclone Freddy of this year currently holds the IRL ACE record at 87.01, which broke Ioke's record of 85.26. Unless WMHB Freddy does somethin', it appears Katrina still clutches tightly onto her "highest ACE in history" record.
    And, ironically, her damage total is just slightly above the IRL Katrina's damage total. And falls short of some of the higher Katrina totals thrown about (like that one 145 billion total).

Also Irma was removed from the naming lists in real life once male and female names were interchanged in 1979, then came back as a replacement for Irene. (lot of hurricanes came there "protect contries") Tara is a weird name for a hurricane.. (why!?? Why did the team chose these names F13!??) and we made it through the alphabet... Its just so sad... :(

    • @spot2064
      @spot2064 Před 6 lety +1

      The Gaming's First Choice I have no idea. Plus the reason Harold (Gert) did nothing Katrina (Irma) did that was because this is based off what models predicted and what could've happened. Also, Tara shouldn't be a name on here anyway. It's EPAC, unless it got retired in the East Pacific in this alternative universe.

    • @spot2064
      @spot2064 Před 6 lety

      There will be no category 6 purely because the system was made to measure the amount of damage done by a storm of certain wind speeds. Storms of 156mph+ will do the same amount of damage hence no category 6.

      If we average the increase of wind speed from each current category to the next one, we can assume that the hypothetical Category 6 is ~1.2x the speed of the weakest category 5. By this logic, a Category 6 would have to be 188+ mph, and Katrina would be just under a category 7 (225 mph).

      Ghita is Franklin because of the location it starts out from. It rapidly intensified in this video because that’s what a forecast said could happen. Irene is Harvey because of its starting point near the Barbados. IRL when Harvey was not looking so good, Irene was supposed to be what Harvey should’ve looked like at that time. Remember that Harvey wasn’t supposed to go near Texas in the first place.
