Wow Abbie did better than my husband I’ve been trying to teach him to hand the tea towel neatly for 25 yrs and he still seems totally foreign to him lol 😂 well done sweet girl ❤
I’m learning to love plants. My mom was a plant lover and knew so much about the different types of flowers. Sadly she passed suddenly 6 months ago. I lived with her. Now I’m trying to keep all her favorite flowers, trees and bushes alive. So far they’ve all survived my care. Guess I’ve learned a lesson or two through the years.🤓

So sorry for your loss. Losing our Moms is so hard…I lost mine suddenly 5.5 years ago and I think of her every day.
Thank you both. I’m so sorry for your losses as well. Not a day goes by where I don’t think of my mom. It’s true that mom’s just have a special relationship and it’s definitely the hardest loss yet.

If i'm right, is the loud cheering and noise-making part of therapy for the kid's tolerance for loud sounds? Also, i always have to add that miss abigails giggling, whether it be mischievous, devious, happy, or nervous always brings warmth to my heart and joy to my being. Thank you all !

When I lived in Wisconsin we had a golf cart. We would have some fun. But after moving we never had one. Family friends had one and their kids would beg me to go for a ride. I'm suprised I didn't get hurt. They about threw me off several times. But we had fun. I love watching abbie in videos. Thank you for sharing.

I have been watching ye'r videos since ye started i love watching ye. I have a 2 year old son well his 3 in September but his name is linkin and he has autism and he is non verbal. I worked the north fork pride festival on Long Island yesterday. It rained in the morning and afterwards it was so muggy and moist, reminded me of living in central Florida. It’s like wearing an electric blanket in a steam room.
if i lived in florida i'd have so many plants and things of greenery that you wouldn't see my home! seriously in a montreal climate, my 2 balconies are filled with plants for 5 months.
One of the house we looked at buying had pineapple plants with little baby pineapples. It takes a long time for pineapples to actually grow. They don't get huge maybe double the size of what you have there.
In this video, I spotted the Chipmunk movie. I guess Abbie is taking a break from Disney. Abbie's reaction to all the cheering is so cute! Wouldn't it be nice if every time we walked into a room, we received applause for just being us. We should start that trend. Have a great weekend, everyone! ❤

My mom's family in Puerto Rico grow pineapples. They grow about knee high and when ready the air smells amazing.
I have issues with super loud sounds and need noise cancelling headphones. Fireworks, concert music and sirens are overstimulating.

We have been growing a pineapple for a few years and just started a second one but we have it indoor half the year because we live in Indiana.

I have 3 pineapple plants. They take 3 to 5 years to actually get a pineapple and they only produce one pineapple in their life time. They can get to be 5 feet tall if I remember correctly.

They met summer about ten years ago when she was a youth volunteer for surfers for austism. She surfed with abby.
Summer was going to/went to college to become an ABA therapist, specializing in helping Autistic children and/or adults. So did Kylie and Abbie's bro Isaiah. Well, Isaiah already graduated. I think he's doing like my niece is. She did the same thing and is working w about 3 different kids now. Awesome girl, just like the 3 kids here.
Summer used to live w Asa & Cillia for awhile while she went to a college close to them. Summer did respite care when mom & dad needed a night out. Abbie & Summer are more like sisters, and then Isaiah & Summer are like bro & sis. An intricale part of their lives, she is one VERY, SPECIAL, LOVELY, young LADY 💖 😘💋🎉

we grow pineapples down here in south florida all the time it takes about a year an a half to two hears to grow a ripe pineapple. We also have a ponytail palm in our yard they get gigantic. Ours has been in the ground for 30 years. when people see it they can't believe its a ponytail palm. Its the biggest ponytail I have ever seen in my life

Do you think it's a lot of brain work for Abbie to use her fingers during the "come here" communication?
Is that why her hand just stays stiff and all her fingers straight when requesting somebody accompany her ? Like is it just a lot the think about to have all your fingers do that and move your arm back n fourth at the same time? Did you guys teach her the stiff hand way or was that just easier for her brain? Always have wondered ... respectfully, always.
No it's Abbie has low muscle tone in her hands which is also why her signs are modified
You know....A great donation would be a couple of battery chargers for the golf carts. Maybe a company could do it for advertisement or something. Just a thought......
They have battery chargers. The chargers won’t kick on if the batteries are fully drained.
