      Before it was a false start bc the JA athlete came out his blocks so swift, but now it's a clean start once the other runner came out first. Smh. Distasteful!

    Listen, this isnt Jamaica vs Bahamas, it doesn't matter what nationality theses officials are, dem tief. Simply put, dem tief. No consistency, obvious bias & no form of professionalism. The more and more I watch this meet, the more and more I realize that we as Jamaicans are simply bigger than this. We nuh need fi run against nuh schoolboy from St.Kitts, we nuh need fi beat nuh girl from Bahamas. We bigger dan dis meet, we bigger dan dis region, we bigger dan anything ina di world. Unu lucky seh we injure, unu lucky seh unu get fi tief, unu lucky seh we athlete dem have pro contract a wait pon dem and unu lucky seh champs just done last week. We bigger dan dis and none a wi elite u-20 athlete dem fi see back dis carifta shit unless it a keep a Jamaica.

    Incompetence is the the meat and bread of these 2023 Carifta Games. These officials make it absolutely difficult for the athletes and it’s so obvious how unaccommodating the Bahamians are as hosts.

      @@henrybutler9148 you should read what I said properly. I was talking about shaquane Gordon who got 3rd but his medal was taken away because he supposedly false started. And also prince did not false start, his start was perfect. In general he had a perfect reaction time. If you watch international sports you would see reaction like this. The lack of technology for a proper track meet for the Bahamas was atrocious.

    • @truslu1
      @truslu1 Před rokem +1

      The officials did a terrible job, but that doesn't mean that Bahamian athletes are not exceptional. After all they only have 400,000 people compared to Jamaica's three million. Credit has to be given to the other teams from small populations who did amazing things. If Caribbean country had the population Jamaica does, the story would be far different.

    • @ayanna321
      @ayanna321 Před rokem +2

      @@truslu1 exceptional? Where? You speak of them being exceptional, but to become exceptional you have to be a competitor. There was no competition for Jamacia. The jamacian athletes were exceptional. And you speak of populous, what does that have to do with anything. Jamacia isn't even one of the richest countries in the Caribbean. Within the athletic arena, money is paramount to ensure excellence, it is obvious that you do not understand the intricacies of international sports. And I meant every word that was read. Jamacia is a significantly poorer country but was the richest in execution

    • @truslu1
      @truslu1 Před rokem

      @@ayanna321 How can you doubt that the Bahamas produces exceptional athletes? Have you been following history? The current world champions at 400m both come from the Bahamas and that's just very recent history. The Bahamian women(I think) were the first Caribbean team to break the US stranglehold on the 4x100 Olympic relay so they punch far above their weight in international track and field. According to Investopedia, Jamaica is the second largest economy in the Caribbean, so when you combine that fact with a larger population there is an obvious advantage.

    • @THEREALTOS
      @THEREALTOS Před rokem +3

      @@truslu1 there isn't any advantage because the whole population does not compete in the carifta games and also if we had alot of advantages, trust and believe say we athletes dem wouldana train pah wet field also....throughout the whole competition the Bahamians or whatevee dem wah name were BIAS....and that gave us Jamaicans a very hard time ...like yes, they have talent but why be bias to showcase it??if it was held in JA and all of this biasness happened y'all would have a different story to say......in finals they were 2 competitors from each country and so ion get the whole population argument and even thou bahamians were the first to watever internationally their name got lost in the book of history while Jamaica is on every page concerning athletics
