- [index below] Since the other video of me tapping on my practice pad went over so well, I decided to spend almost an hour just getting in the zone and exploring lots of different percussion inspired tapping sounds. Hope you find something in here that works for you.

This is one of the very first asmr videos that I found years ago. It is still categorically one of the very best! My go-to asmr video that never fails! This is because it is organic, nuanced, focused, and natural in flow. It takes its time. Not one of those hectic rushed videos that miss the whole point of relaxation. It makes me feel that I am in the room and you are casually messing with the materials and not intending to produce asmr. In the real world, we respond to asmr when someone is doing something else and not intending to evoke it. Parts of this video capture that experience.Great work!
I remember when I was in highschool during marching band practices and trips I always found listening to the percussion section practicing on their notepads and practice pads as relaxing. Both nostalgic and relaxing, thanks!

Russell Hensen as a drummer and still currently in HS I find it reassuring that at least some other people enjoy the tapping and warm ups from the percussion section because sometimes I feel that we are more annoying than we seem, even though we are pretty insane sometimes, so thank you

Dude, I have always thought that a really dry muted keyboard instrument like marimba recorded in the right way would be great for ASMR
I'm in color guard, and the guard and the percussion made a deal that we wouldn't spray hair spray on the bus as long as they didn't drum on every thing in sight. Haha worked quite nice. Can't wait for marching season!

Mattie J I play in a school band (we don’t march tho) and while we were on an international music festival all the trumpets argued over who could eat the Cheetos on the floor of the bus. The arrangement was that they could split it if they stopped talking. Band is oddly weird and fun, isn’t it?

Thank you, 2 am yesterday and still awake, physically exhausted but my mind won't shut up. I've tried all my favorite relaxation videos and a few asmrists I've found while trolling around on the tube, nothing helped, then, I found you, and went out faster then a light, and with chronic insomnia, that's hard to have happen. I am forever subscribing to you. Thank you, so very much. Words will never express my thanks to you for one of the best nights of sleep I've had in over 10 years.

I totally enjoyed this for several reasons. One, it was a wonderful trigger for me.. Two, I found the rhythms very relaxing. and Three, being a Band Geek, I have learned an appreciation for the percussion. I love and appreciate what you have done!! It's nice to revisit the time I spent in Band enjoying just listening to the Percussion noises. Thank you so much for doing this video!!!!!

The practice pad was sounding thin on the back corner like maybe it wasn't glued perfectly. For some reason that sound reminded me of "The Predator" vocal modulator sound effect. Glad you found your niche. Really enjoyed this though. Thanks

Oh geeze. I may not be the best person for that. I haven't played to many myself. All I can think is that most involve some tempo/meter change, lots of syncopation and then wicked double bass during the break down.
