Which audio interface and microphone would be best for me? My budget total is $400. In which the complete studio setup is done. i have laptop
the Meteor is good and compact. I use an analogue mic and audio interface but if you dont want to do that, then you must get a digital mouse with USB output. I would not get the Co1u as its to bulky for voice over when used with moving arm - its too heavy for flexible arm if you mount your mic from a wall.
You can also get a meteorite (baby version of the meteor). They are all good enough. I use a Hybrid C01 (basically a fake samson C01) and even that is good enough with the right ediing. Out of this list I would recommend the Meteor because of what you get for the price you pay.

Damn! Meteor is AMAZING for the price! If you want quality, use SM58 + good XLR audio card.

neither, use professional vocal mic rather. I suppose the C01U is more vocal while the Meteor is more podcasting.
