one thing the community really needs is the tournament maps to replace the matchmaker maps, would do so much for the casual to moderately hardcore community. I love the game but don't feel like getting too involved in all the discords. just want to play.
Don't know how we could mobilize to get the point across and it can't be that much work. I would consider helping pay for the programmer's time to do so, collectively.

I thought the caster un-summon was some big brain tech. I re-winded to see what I missed, thinking Turin had some master tech play... turns out even the pros make blunders!

I think with Slaanesh you can't leave your expensive cav in a fight like with heavy cav or even Reavers. Sure, in some matchups you have the advantage in the infantry grind but that's not where your real damage comes from. Though all in all I think it is great that Slaanesh is back to being that very micro intensive. If Bretonnia wasn't so OP, I'd be interested to see how croissant mains would play Slaanesh.

Ever since the previous stream I've been maining Vampire Coast in multiplayer domination. Only because Turin showed the stats where it's the least played faction. I'm not a pro but from all my matches this week I have never lost against WoC and Empire. They have all the tools to counter me but they all underestimate the "FEAR & TERROR!". WoC throws a lot of Warhounds which just flees before being lowered to 50% HP.
Empire always start with the damn Hellstorm rocket launcher so I just don't bother with any infantry as my starting army. Then I put fear and terror into the hearts of men. Making them flee before they can put up a fight. I even bring the one time cavalry summon from the ghost LL. It's so funny how good they can be.
It's tricky against HE. I have a build in mind I have yet to test because I haven't met another HE player for a while.
Wood Elves. I win all matches against them now after my first loss. CRAAAB people.
Lizardmen. Only had one match sadly.
Khorne. Same as WoC. I can't lose against them.
Dark Elves. Tricky but I think I have something that might work. Same as HE. Have not met any since my new build.
Kislev. I can't lose. They are quite scary with the faction unbreakable mechanic but them being so focused hybrid playstyles makes them less able to kill fast enough for me to swarm them.
Norsca. 50/50. Have not had enough matches against them to figure out which units perform well against them.
Tzeentch. This is one is tough. Their units being hybrid with silly shields does make them tough to beat. Especially when a single spell can delete a shit ton of units no matter if they are few large units or a big infantry unit.
Factions I did not note are factions I have not met yet. I don't bother to record my matches into the statistics so you won't see the sudden rise in the faction's matches.
What dictates your lord choices in those matchups?

Could be a neat DLC to have a high elf warrior priest who is all about countering temptation. Thinking like a female poius chick, sisters of battle style.
Slaneesh hellstriders and CD bull centaurs were op before but i think the nerfs were a bit to harsh.
This is the worst thing about how long it is between balance patches. The devs always swing to hard in either direction bullcentaurs went from op to not worth ther crazy high cost. The skullcracker and iron demon went the opposite way.
Aoe 4 for example despite not having perfect balance ofc usually does more gradual changes.
They should have fixed the messed up hitboxes of bull centaurs first, then evaluated that. The next time they could have fixed their melee stats.
Bretonnias recent op status can also be blamed on this.
All those buff combined just way overshot the mark.
They were definitely over nerfed. Then the faction is apparently played so little many people don't realize how bad helstriders are in fights now. Like players didn't realize regular helstriders could lose to elyrian reavers despite costing 150 more than them.
Man I can't tell you how much I appreciate that kindness that is the "Turin" way. You don't find kindness like that on CZcams (especially within video game channels like yours brother!)
To celebrate the friendliness I'm gonna be doing something neat for all. I've been working on a natural oil blend and incense that I made to represent the somniferous/narcotic Slaneesh musk that fiends of Slaneesh is famous for exuding. I finally got the scent to a place that I deam worthy of the name. I made it by utilizing 27 different oils/gums/resin's that I grow and harvest myself. Only two ingredients come from a source that I didn't grow myself since I don't have an extra 30-40 years on hand to grow them by myself. First come first serve, aside from the 200 incense sticks for our kindly c(K)aster and good sir Turin!
I don't charge money or anything like that I just genuinely love working with my plethora of pleasurable plant pals. I made close to 1500 sticks and to include as many people as I can I'll have to limit each peeps to 50 sticks per person. Unfortunately I most likely will have to charge for the shipping and handling but it shouldn't cost anyone more than 2-3 dollars max. Anyone interested need only to let me know.
I also have something special and free for one lucky person. A decade or two ago I picked up a squad of metal steel legion fellas with the gas masks that I had planned to paint'm up and convert them into Chaos cultists and I just sorta lost track of'm until I just recently unearthed. I wanted to check in with you guys out there, and hopefully this will be a boon to someone's day. Same thing as the incense, first come first serve, but since I only have the one box to give so please let a brother know ASAP!

It's fun, quite difficulty and full of 80s/90s action movie style and references.;)
Big change that would help Khorne, is fixing bulldog units. Because as they are right now, I can't help but think that, they are just worst and more expensive alternative for Khornataurs. They have really amazing charge and good stats , but for some reason the damage thay do doesn't reflect that. When you test them and Minos against a infantry, you'll see that they are actually dealing less damage despite having twice as many models. On top of that they have some weird mass issues, where they just can't get out of infantry lines. And if you add to this their animations, that tends to drag individual models into enemy formations, you just have the recipe for a wasted supercool unit not worth bringing to the mathes. I figured, that if CA will manage to fix their mass issues, that would help them with getting out of combat and use their charge bonus to do the work. I think that's the easiest way to fix them. Give them ability to get out of the infantry ranks similar to that of Grail Knights, but slightly weaker. That would be awesome.
Tip: Exhalted deamonettes are a lot better than basic ones, they are very weak at the moment
Edeamonettes are quite expensive for a unit that gets shot/shut down
You'll never convince me that Sigvald isn't broken. No lord should be able to survive practically every battle with full HP, not even the so-called tanky ones.
Re. HE vs. Ogres - I think the other weak link in Colin's army was basic spearmen. Given they're too expensive to work as chaff mobs, and given Silverin exist, there's no reason to ever bring them. Cut those and the phoenix, and he could've had the punishing cav presence needed. Reavers and maybe even more Princes.

Sure just put the top player as slaanesh and have him play against tourny players that are worse than they are and if you tip the scales enough they could. Even skilled players going multiple rounds and adapting to each other? Nope they will most likely come out on the bottom in that case unless maybe going against another bottom tier faction.
Can't help but think that beastmen army would have had a much better time if they cut one of the minos from the opening and brought 3 ungor raiders instead. Is the meta for Slaanesh normally nothing but chaos warriors/chosen?

@turin could it be that the gnoblar buffs were supposed to to gorgers instead and someone just messed up?
Is it just me, or does being ITP and then getting fascinated / rampaged seem a little odd? like surly being ITP would make sense to make them immune to fascination and rampage effects? I think thats a little change that would singificantly improve the use of an ITP unit.
Feel free to point out something i may be missing / overlooking here, im just spit balling a random thought i had having watched the first game haha.

I have found that chosen of slaanesh with hellscourges are not the play... the warriors get the poison and expert charge defense and have crazy high MD at 54 you are just over paying for the 70 MD which in most engagements is not providing extra benefits... 3 warriors is just always better then 2 chosen... for 300 gold less
Large discrepancies in melee stats matter a lot more than you'd think! But generally slannesh benefits a lot from a wider Frontline so it evens out.

Yes it was announced by GW like a year ago but they haven't really put out any info since. It may be 2025 before anything starts to release.

Always frustrating to see SFTs dominated by Ogres and Brettonia. Feels like half of the SFTs on TT were dominated by these 2. Great stream though and its pretty remarkable few of Turins stream have been these 2 OP factions smashing everyone
For the HE vs SL MU, I actually grinded this MU against collin/khaine a lot. Found that SL CK is probably one of the best units SL has in the MU.
