    #NonaIlish r bora is a traditional #Bangal #recipe that is also popular in India, and Bangladesh wherever Bangals are staying. Basically, It is a dry fish (Shutki) version of popular Bengali/Bangal Hilsa fish which is dried and stored with salty texture for a long time to be used as an important dish like curry, pakoda, bhorta etc. It is already salted in taste so during preparation we have to be very careful about adding salt extra in recipes. This video is showing an easy and simple way of #stepbystep recipe of this dish that can be made easily by available ingredients. Here in this recipe, we have used a limited amount of oil and spices for maintaining good health. But these quantities are as per choice. All ingredients are mentioned below also. Try and enjoy this recipe and let us know the taste.

    Nona Ilish (Dry Hilsa Fish, 1 Piece),
    Pumpkin Leaves (4),
    Chopped Green Chili (2),
    Chopped Onion (1),
    Red Chili Powder (1/2 tsp),
    Turmeric Powder (1 tsp),
    Salt (1/2 tsp),
    Mustard Oil (3 tbsp),
    Warm water as required,
    Procedure:
    1) Clean all leaves and fish pieces with warm water properly.
    2) Marinate all leaves and fish pieces with salt and turmeric powder.
    3) Drain out extra water from leaves as they become soft.
    4) Mix sliced onion, chopped green chili, turmeric powder, salt, mustard oil and red chili powder together.
    5) Take one large leaf on palm and put a portion of onion mix on that leaf and then put one piece of fish on that onion mix.
    6) Put another layer of onion mix and cover it properly with that leaf.
    7) Take another small marinated leaf and cover it again properly.
    8) Heat mustard oil, put the stuffed bora and fry all sides crispy.
    9) Serve Hot with hot steamed rice and Enjoy.
