The drawing and painting were great, and Paris looks incredible and so peaceful 🙌
I love seeing how Emma has same manners as you. Like the way you talk and move your head, your daughter moves her head and talks just like you!
That's so interesting! Love that
They do omg!!! I love them 😭❤️
That's his daughter? I don't see it at all
@@phillipstroll7385 no, she’s not his daughter
@@arachosia I knew it. He compositional is so much better than his. So, she couldn't have been his daughter. She would have learned to see as he sees if she was. Her style; although, maybe not specifically that of his, would still hold traits of his. This girl's work does not. What is his daughter's CZcams? I'd love to watch them both. If she's a skilled as her dad it would be nice to watch them both.
I have to say that besides being a fantastic painter, you are also an equally great filmmaker.
Thank you!
it was a pleasure meeting you that day at luxembourg gardens! pls never stop making your vlogs :,)
Nice meeting you Lauren!
hey lauren! nice to see you here:) glad you're a fellow chamberlainpaintings fan
Being parisian, I really loved this video! You captured exactly what Paris was like. I'm so tired of seeing other youtuber's videos showing a falsely romantic Paris, kinda like "Emily in Paris" (OMG I really hate it, vraiment horrible!). So, seeing your video, showing a much more authentic Paris, it's so satisfying! Merci beaucoup ! Oh, also, I love all your videos! They are so relaxing and I learn a lot just by listening to you. Being an art student, I complete my classes with your videos! Thank you so much for providing us with such great content! 🤩
Thank you! I haven't seen Emily in Paris but I completely agree regarding false romance. I'm flattered that as a Parisian you feel I've captured some truth in my video. That means a lot to me. I'm so glad you enjoy my videos and I wish you all the best on your creative journey! 😊💛
Adorable little video ❤ I love meeting random people and connecting like you did with this talented young lady! I wish all men could be as lovely and nice as you...
Thanks Sarah!
Oh I was trying to figure out who she was🤣 at first I thought he had another daughter but no😅
In the words of your daughter, you’re a rockstar!
you are such a present, talented artist! you and emma share the same beautiful aura. you’ve raised a beautiful daughter that presents herself so elegantly, just like yourself
You’re very kind. Thank you 🙏
You're the only guy I know who goes to Paris and eats a burrito...Great video! Miss it so much. The magic never gets old.
Thanks Mel!

Everything was beyond. Such a beautiful video and the watercolors are beautiful too. Thanks for sharing. Peace and Love...SuzWhat ☮️💛
Love that you noticed that I had lost my eraser and then found it. I'm trying not over explain the story if that makes sense. Thanks for another wonderful poem! 😊✌💛
@@chamberlainpaintings it is similar to your paintings, the observer can fill in the details. 😁
@@SuzWhat I love that. Viewer participation!
Another great video, so beautiful watching fellow artists connecting and sharing their work. I loved hearing you both explain your feelings with going into this piece and being open to hear advice from each other.
Thanks Chelsea!
its so nice to see you made friends along the way
I was always a straight A student but failed art.. I thought I could never have the capability to enjoy creativity... But this year I challenge myself by perusing art and now it brings me the most joy. Also, I have the same watercolor set and I love it how I can bring it with me everywhere!
I didn't do well in art class either. Glad you rediscovered your creativity!
So heres my Paris story...Back in the mid eighties while traveling on a Eurail Rail pass I met a girl from NZ and while in the train station a group of about thirty art students along with their instructor set up to draw people from the main hall of Gare du Nord. A young guy sat opposite me and began to sketch me and my travel partner. Well if he was going to sketch me I thought it might be nice to return the favor. So I grabbed a few things from my back pack and began to sketch the boy. Twenty minutes later I gave him my drawing and he showed it to his art teacher. Neither of us spoke each other's languages but I'm sure somewhere in his words were "thank you" and "that's very good". I graduated from art school in '82 and was used to drawing quick croquis sketches from live models. It was a really cool experience and it brings a smile to my face whenever I think of it.
Anyway, great video and thanks a lot for sharing. Subbed.
Thanks Dan! Great story
Love Paris. Can you imagine this; I got posted there for two years in the 90s and my manager apologised for sending me abroad. A city full of arresting views and amazing sites. A painters playground.
Amazing. Yes, so much to paint!
This is so comforting. 🙏🏼
Hi! I'm from Holland but I live in France since 2005 and I've lived 8 years in Paris before heading to the mountains. I fell in love with Charvin Arts paint and lately I made a unboxing video (which is terribly boring so don't watch it) and a short version of it about why and how to start nature journaling even if you're not good at it. But I was inspired because of your style. Love your channel and of course I subscribed and like it.
This was really interesting to watch! I never would attempt to paint a scene like that because of the challenges it posed - you did a great job. Now I think I should try and could learn something like you said! Thank you for making these videos 💛🙏
Thanks!
I really enjoyed the video, it’s so peaceful to watch🎨
Love your videos!! Never stop making them and your art inspires me!! ❤️
☺🙏
I came across your lovely video and now I’m totally inspired to try watercolour painting 🥰 you are very talented and what a sweet encounter with the young lady 🌸
Beautiful young lady and lovely watercolors!
great sketching, painting, and editing.
Hey, I have to say I really enjoy watching your painting videos, but these videos from Paris are quite entertaining in a new way...kind of more a travel experience. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Another amazing video! You're very talented not only with your art, but with filmmaking. To many people now tend to make videos rampant to not feel awquard about silent spaces. The music along with the quietness of some parts of the video provide such an amazing contrast with how much peace you are experiencing! Keep making amazing videos!
Thanks Hannah!
Absolutely love these videos ! Thanks for sharing it xx can’t wait to see more videos
I love charvin sketchbooks! so pretty 🤩 It’s so cool that you met another painter by the river
I was sketching in the luxembourg gardens on my trip but wish I stopped by the riverbanks too now!!
Luxembourg Gardens are beautiful!
Loved this vlog!!
Lovely as always 💐
I wish that one day I will go to Paris and just soak it all in. Beautiful video! Watercolours are so handy for travelling. I enjoyed your conversation about your paintings and techniques.
Thanks! Paris is the perfect place for watercolor sketching. So much to paint!
That was really enjoyable. Thanks!
Love this video and your energy
Amazing video, plenty of charm and lovely sketches!
Thanks! 😊
love your videos! so inspiring
Wow, I looooved this, didn't want it to end - now I'm going to subscribe and binge watch your previous videos. BTW I live in Brisbane, Australia and can only dream of sketching in Paris and all those gorgeous old cities in Europe....
Really enjoyed this video and made me wish I were in Paris!
this is giving me nostalgia when i was learning art
Enjoyed this video and would like to see more plein air watercolor videos. I have been to Paris once and it is a nice place for artists to visit, sketch, and paint. Cheers! :)
I plan to film plein air watercolor videos whenever I travel :)
It amazing Video, and it is a delight, I am getting my watercolour painting very seriously recently. Love the Paris vibe, and miss Pais very much, my last visit was in 2019. Keep up the great work. Thanks for sharing.
always love your videos and always get new inspiration. cheers~
Drawing along to your Paris videos has been the best part of my day. I get to pretend I’m in Paris too lol
Love that. Thanks!
this was so wholesome to watch 🥺
I so loved this video! Ah, Paris.
I really enjoyed this video…enjoyed Paris and your paintings.Thank you for sharing.😊
i loved every second of this video
Now I understand what this is, I was in Paris Oct 2021 living there for couple months at my bestie's and we befriended a fellow American he was painting in this open air style along the sienne! across from the bridge by the Louvre. I didn't realize this is a thing! Can't wait to go back to Paris really miss after watching this.
I was there in October 2021 as well! I had oil paints with me on that trip. Watercolor is much easier for travel. Paris is amazing for plein air painting. Endless subject matter!
Super great content! What is amazing is that beyond the art content, your videomaking and editing is really pleasant to watch.
Thanks! ☺🙏
You should come to Montreal before the indian summer ends to do some plein-air of the orange trees! Inspiring!
@@daphneaugier I would love to! I've heard it's beautiful.
Absolutely wonderful 👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks Cedric!
You paint so Right ! I dig everything I've seen on your channel your very Gifted! I really enjoyed this immensely have a Groovy Great Day and happy painting Boss man !☆🎨✌🌞
Thanks! 😊🙏
I love that you’re experimenting with watercolor. I’ve been experimenting with gouache because it’s easier to transport around. I’m still trying to grasp how the colors dry. How was your Parisian burrito!🤗
It seems that most oil painters travel with gouache instead of watercolors. I understand! Watercolor is a totally different process. Does gouache only come in tubes? I love the ease of the watercolor tray/palette. The burrito tasted great but it was cold. I went back thinking it may have been a fluke and it wasn't. Cold burritos are a NO for me 😂
Michael only you would go to France and eat a burrito. Thanks for the video great fun. Nice painting even in watercolor.
Thanks! Believe me, I ate my share of cheese, pain au chocolat, and omelettes 😂
You've inspired me to paint again
please come to Argentina, there's so many pretty places to paint
I'd love to visit Argentina. Soon I hope!
We love the city of love. Great work. We were there but couldn’t produce any work near your standard. Congratulations.
Thanks Philip!
Wow, she's skilled.
Yes!
Enjoyed the video. In need to maybe do watercolour in my sketch book - tend to use gouache which i find a bit more flexible as you can go from a wash to a heavy thick paint quite easily. I need to get back to Paris - haven't been for some time and its easy to get across via Eurostar. So many things to paint. The last image of you at a cafe in the evening would make a great nocturne.
Thanks Paul. I really enjoy watercolors even though they're new to me, and very challenging. I say give it a try!
( Michael, feels like the initial shade of pencil is a complex simplicity, I like the the watercolor painting ) 😎👋
Thanks Mark!
Great Job !!
Thanks Peter!
Best video ever.
I am trying to get to a place where I can draw a few lines and shapes. I have experienced major set backs in my lifetime but hope I can function well enough to do this. Thank you for the encouraging romanticism. 🦋
I’m not concerned with competition in industry, more developments in cathartic wellbeing.
Some lives simply go this way.
I really love your vlogs, iam your fan from Egypt ❤️
Thanks, I'm so glad!
aahh id just love to paint with you!!
Tres bien Mike 👌
Thanks Andrew!
Can I ask what camera you use? The quality is on point 💯👏🏽

Commenting again since you did a repost- I was wondering who was filming you? Did you have it setup? I was just there in Sept at the gardens and took lots of pick didn't get a chance to paint as I was Jet lagged from getting into Paris and had to leave for my retreat in Limoges 2 days later. Will be back in June- I love the banter w/ you and the young lady its so nice to talk to other artists while out painting. :)
I did all the filming 😊
@@chamberlainpaintings did you put the phone on a stand? curious since I want to film my plein air going forward in France & June next may , thanks
@@ellencrimitrent I film with a Canon G7X mark ii. I use a tripod for a lot of the shots.
I hope my wish comes true to meet you and also Emma one day🙏🏼❤️
Amazing video
Thanks Elliot!
What a wonderful video.Felt like I was in Paris again with your music and shots.
How did you like painting in Watercolors?...Please compare it to your oil painting.
Thanks! I loved it. I think I prefer it for painting small. I still have a lot to learn but I'm having fun!
I made a video trying to follow Emma type of videos ! First time so not sure about the quality ❤❤❤❤
Love your art btwwww
Nice! Why didn’t you set up your oil palette and paint in oils there? Just curious. Love your inspirational work!
Thanks Sandy! I had to travel light on this trip so I decided to try watercolor sketching. Such a fun challenge!
Beautiful videos and art! Absolutely adore them. What camera do you use? :)
Thanks! I use a Canon G7X mark ii

Thanks Louise! No, but I'll take a look
Beautiful video, what hotel were you staying in as I’d love to stay there? ♥️🎨
Thanks! Le Bristol
Hello how watercolor set is that :)?
@@AaronFultz thanks alot :)
did you reupload this?
Yes! I re-edited the portion where we discussed my painting
Is it hard to be vegan in Europe? It must be an artist paradise traveling through Europe!
It depends on where you travel in Europe. I'm no expert and even though I often eat vegan meals I'm not fully vegan. England and the Netherlands seemed to have a lot of vegan options. Maybe a bit less in France and Italy.
I painted your portrait
I hung it on the living room wall.
Have you considered Gouache?
Yes, but I wanted to try watercolor because it's a totally different process from oil painting. Also, I've always loved the watercolors of Homer and Hopper. Very inspiring.
@@chamberlainpaintings And Sargent. I just have found that Gouache is the best of both worlds between watercolor and oil.
I just don't get why youtube removed my comment including your reply to me. All is gone. And I think it's not only my case. I think some other people's comments are gone also.
I had to repost. Sorry! There was a minor edit. Thanks for commenting again Olda!
@@chamberlainpaintings No problem at all. I just didn't notice it was a reupload. lol ... Sorry! Have a good one!
Chucky Cheese?
You're not poor regarding the hotel, far from that !!!!!
