    Thank you so much for this! I’m horrible at hand piping for a number of reasons. But you made it look a lot easier. I never get the royal icing consistency correct or hold my hand correctly. I wish I could have a 1-1 and ask all my crazy questions. ☺️ thank you for all your videos I just love them🥰

    Can we use this recipe to create 3D butterflies 🦋. I used a recipe with only meringue powder but they seem very fragile and break easily. I’m wondering if using the eggwhites will create a when dry harder icing? Thank you 💕

    Hey! I have an egg allergy, do you think it would work to replace the egg white with reduced aquafaba? Thank you so much for this tutorial, I learned a lot and can't wait to put it to practice

    • @FinespunCakes
      @FinespunCakes  Před 3 lety

      Hi! I have never tried it with aquafaba but it could be possible if reduced enough. Maybe google some egg-free recipes to try out!

    if we will keep our cakes in fridge after applying royal icing will it be dry or not?

    • @FinespunCakes
      @FinespunCakes  Před 8 měsíci

      It will depend on your fridge but for mine I put it in a box to prevent humidity softening the icing

    • @FinespunCakes

    Is there any concern about the egg whites not being cooked?

    • @FinespunCakes
      @FinespunCakes  Před rokem +1

      I don't believe so. Since it's such a high concentration of sugar it acts as a preservative. And it dries completely preventing bacterial growth. I still like to use pasteurized egg whites just to be safe :)

    • @teeshac8421
      @teeshac8421 Před rokem

      you could put the egg whites in a bain-marie before you use them. 😊
