      Hundred per cent! Fans helped sack big Sam for playing boring football and booing him. Some fans are never happy and believe Rovers have a right to be in the PL. Considering we've never been in the PL without a sugar daddy says it all.

    They've made an absolute mess of this season and have essentially hamstrung Tomasson in every which way. Allowed Brereton to leave on a free and sold Kaminski in the summer (who has arguably been the best goalkeeper in the league this season) without adequately replacing either and then sold Wharton as the window was about to shut. Their marketing is still outrageously poor and they've made no attempt to build bridges with the fans. They blocked JDT from doing his presser last Friday then then prepared the entire staff for his removal on the Saturday ... only for JDT to then do the presser and essentially tell the world about the nonsense that's going on there.
    The venkys are still one of the worst ownerships in the EFL and it's a disgrace that they aren't being investigated by a commission.

    The caller that said that the Wharton money had disappeared, it hasn't, Blackburn have run an average operating loss of £400k a week for the last 3 years which has been funded from India. Due to legal problems, they are not easily able to transfer funds without approval from a court at present. The first tranche of the Wharton money will just get them through to the summer ...

    • @sydnorth5868
      @sydnorth5868 Před 2 měsíci

      Exactly! I'm a Rovers fan, but I think that some other fans are absolutely delusional. Venky's are pretty clueless as football club owners, but they have at least funded the club to the tune of 220m quid since we got relegated. If they choose to stop doing that (or the Indian Government stop them) then Blackburn Rovers will disappear in an instant. At best we'd have a phoenix club playing in the North West Counties Division 2, ground sharing with Bamber Bridge and training down on Pleasington Fields again!

    Jon have proven to be a man with integrity of highest calibre! I am just reading today that Sweden HAVE hired Jon Dahl but also that Jon have rejected minimum one larger German club seemingly already when the rumours of Jon not being happy with the promises made were not kept reg, budgets and more. Jon Dahl could, as I suspect 95%+ of PL trainers would just make some statements that would lead to him being fired AND get a million salary on the way out but Jon Dahl elected to simply hand in his own resignation thus leaving pretty much empty handed. What a disaster and loss for Blackburn. I hope the best for Jon that delivered hard in a short time, only goal difference kept Blackburn from moving up! 😳🤬
    I think Sweden have made a coup. Congrats to Sweden but someone need to shake the management in Blackburn hard.

    Venkys, kept Rovers afloat for years whilst the fans 'boycotted' and they can't even fill half the ground even when its 10 quid a ticket. No wonder they don't spend money on players, Venkys have invested hundreds of millions (in or around 300 million not 200)

    • @Chrissaces1
      @Chrissaces1 Před 3 měsíci +1

      As a Blackburn fan I can give you an insight into why we struggle to fill a ground… in a town with less than 150k residents, when a club is mismanaged for 14 years, you start to lose your youth supporters, this will take years if not decades to turn around, even if it can be….
      Yeah they’ve put in millions into the club to keep it afloat, but the club as where it is through consistent bad decisions for the last 14 years. I mean for fucks sake, in our first couple of years they didn’t even know we could be relegated, can you believe that? They pushed out the best CEO in football at the time (John Williams), they trusted a marketing company to install Steve kean… then hired a Bollywood actor (Shebby singh) as global advisor (or whatever his bullshit title was)… just because they’ve funded us for all this time, doesn’t mean it’s not their fault why they’ve had to spend so much money, their consistent bad appointments have cost them their money

    • @flynngoodwo
      @flynngoodwo Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@Chrissaces1 mismanaged? or cursed with terrible fans? Shebby Singh was a former Malaysian International footballer not a bollywood actor, and Shebby was hired mainly coz he's very well known in South East Asian countries where most of the fan money came from for Blackburn, coz the town itself is very small and filled with ungrateful fans. Having said that I agree that his role should have been far less influential in management of the club, not that it would've made much difference coz of the fans..

      Last season he had a very good squad and experienced squad. This season he's complained of lack of experienced, not played Travis nor Bucks and loaned them out to rivals. He's played Leonard up top away from home against either Stoke or Rotherham (can't remember which) both who have big old fashioned defences. Plays Moran (out of form) and just complains. He's done my head in the last few games with the same football expecting a different result. HE'S lost the dressing room, not the owners, Waggot or Boughton.
      Rovers have never been in the PL without Jack Walkers millions. With ffp you'd think Rovers fans understand that however most believe we have a devined right to be there. It's just nonsense!

With Ffp fans are deluded by what that actually means. Venkys pump in 20 million a season (all they can from their own pockets to stop us going under). We have a stadium way too big, half the fans think we should be pushing for Europe, others think we've a defined right to be in the PL. It's beyond a joke.
